CommuniCare Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing health care to those in need since 1972.
Our advocacy efforts for people with psychiatric disorders began in 1978 as the Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society selects CommuniCare as recipient of the 2009 Medical Community Award.
A privately owned company was established and incorporated in February 2010
Michael Bisch joined Yolo Food Bank in January 2018, bringing an accomplished background in business management and nonprofit board leadership with him to the position.
In May 2019 CommuniCare Health Centers is recognized as the top Yolo County healthcare organization
In August 2020, the new dental office opens at the Family Wellness Center in Woodland
