Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and demonstrated ability to control and supervise large groups. Prior experience with Commercial or Industrial project scopes of at least $15M value. A valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%. Responsibilities * Manages all stages of commissioning process, from initial planning and design reviews to final testing and handover * Creates commissioning plans, schedules, test procedures (like IET and IPVT/IST), and verification checklists * Ensures the facility and its systems comply with design specifications, health and safety standards, and performance requirements * Acts as the main point of contact and manages communication between various teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors * Prepares and manages all necessary documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and final certification documents * Performs and oversees various tests, such as functional testing and site acceptance testing, to verify system performance * Trains direct reports on processes, procedures, and completion of daily tasks * Manages workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards * Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members * Aids in communicating company and department strategy to direct reports Qualifications KEY COMPETENCIES * Leverage Business Insights - Understand and act on industry trends, local market and economic conditions and our business model to make decisions and create competitive advantage. * Deploy a Strategic Mindset - Take a broad, global perspective when considering proactive solutions to long-term opportunities and risks that might develop in the future. * Display Emotional Intelligence - Demonstrate the capacity to recognize feelings and patterns of behavior and those of others. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION * Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field * 10-12 years of data center commissioning experience * Previous hyperscale field construction on data centers is required * Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * In-depth knowledge of data center systems, including power distribution, cooling, HVAC, and IT equipment * Ability to manage schedules, budgets, change orders, and multidisciplinary teams * Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels * Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. The pay ranges from $130,000-$205,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
