Responsibilities
Directs the day-to-day coordination of Gilbane's trade contractors and their sub-contractors to ensure high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
7-12 years of experience leading a component of work or whole project for a value of $30 million or larger in a superintendent role
Experience with managing luxury residential or hospitality projects with high-end finishes is required
OSHA 30-hour certified
STS-C Certification

Your key responsibilities
Resource Management: Plan and supervise Assistant Superintendent (on larger projects) and/or craft activities such as, determining method of construction, workforce levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked. Maintain liaison with other departments such as Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, support craft activities and project schedule.
Project Planning and Strategy: Coordinate assigned work with the work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
Risk Management: Assist the Labor Relations Department in maintaining communications with unions, resolving jurisdictional disputes, requisitioning required workforce, and as necessary the labor approach for the projects assigned. Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
Team Leadership: Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. Experience assisting in resolving construction problems such as lack of productivity and work interfaces is required.

Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum of 8 years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required.
Strong Electrical background in Data Centers' experience is preferred.
Titles by discipline may include, Construction Superintendent (for civil work), Structural Superintendent, Mechanical Superintendent, or Electrical Superintendent.
Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and demonstrated ability to control and supervise large groups.
Prior experience with Commercial or Industrial project scopes of at least $15M value.
A valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%.

Responsibilities
As a Construction Engineer III, you will:
Partner with the Project Manager on coordinating and distributing all project information
Work with the project team to ensure all contract document logs are up to date in real time
Ensure status reports on RFIs, submittals and other documents are prepared and presented
Write effective scopes of work for bid packages
Effectively issue Request for Quotations and follow up with Trade Contractors and vendors
Successfully update project schedules with CPM techniques
Timely document field quality activities
Prepare change management reports, estimates and other cost report documents
Establish and maintain the project quality files and documentation systems
Continually seek to understand customer goals and needs and act with a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs and demonstrating value

Attend jobsite coordination meetings

Utilize construction management platforms (e.g., CMiC, Bluebeam, Procore) to support field reporting, labor tracking, and equipment logs.
Review and revise self-perform scopes of work for clarity and efficiency during preconstruction and execution phases.
Collect, analyze, and report productivity data for self-perform labor crews.
Assist in coordinating the field execution of self-perform work, supporting craft labor operations, material logistics, equipment deployment, and field productivity tracking to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
BS or MS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
3+ years with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
