What You Will Do
Attend to all personal care needs including assistance with dressing, hygiene, toileting, locomotion, and repositioning.

Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing observations and cares, including but not limited to intake/output, food consumptions, and ADLS.
What You Need
A genuine interest in nursing and a desire to attend to the elderly.
This position requires successful completion of the 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training Course and certification by the state of Nebraska Health and Human Services system.

Ideal Candidate
COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language including medical terminology related to the job.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: : Ability to drive vehicle from place to place, gain access to each Senior/client home and then safely perform the duties of the job while utilizing standard and specialized equipment. Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 50 - pounds, demonstrating strength and agility at Tabitha's discretion.
AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 18.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
Credentials: CNA Certification in good standing as demonstrated by inclusion on the Nebraska State Registry, required at time of hire. Medication Aide training/competency testing prior to client care required for HomeHealth Care aide positions. CPR required. Valid Nebraska Driver's license (unless otherwise allowed by law) and a good driving record required. All certifications must be kept up to date at the expense of the employee. Must meet Tabitha's vaccination requirements.

JOB SUMMARY:
Assists nursing staff in providing care for patients in accordance with identified treatment plans.
Measures vital signs patients and monitors the health of patients.
