2. Participate in all respiratory related patient Care planning from admission to Discharge. Attends Rounds. Coordinates any transport or special care needs. Acts as a clinical and technical resource.

* A.S/B.S. in Respiratory Therapy
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the N.B.R.C. within three (3) months of hire
* Currently licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist.
* 1-2 year NICU training preferred or 2-3 years' minimum critical care training
* NPS credential preferred
* Work requires a minimum of ten weeks of orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with department policies and procedures.

Overview & Responsibilities:
+ Transfers the deceased from nursing homes, coroner offices, hospitals, or residences to the funeral home
+ Navigates local roads and highways in medium/heavy traffic and the dark using GPS or direction apps
+ Receives instructions for multiple tasks, determines the ideal order for the tasks, and completes them promptly
+ Assists Team Members by filling in for funeral attendants and full-time staff shifts, and covering hearse driving as needed
+ Ensures proper paperwork is completed timely and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
+ Interacts with customers and family members of the decedent, handling inquiries and directing them according to specific needs, i.e., upon arrival and departure for transfer of the decedent
