In this role, you will
Have a routine presence as liaison in Monroe County Mental Health Treatment Court
Maintain caseload of estimated 35-45 participants
Record progress notes in comprehensive, timely manner and complete all reporting as required by the Monroe County Office of Mental Health and Mental Health Treatment Court
Participate in case review meetings with direct Court staff, as scheduled
Receive assigned cases, review and/or formulate recommendations, submit referrals based on client needs
Recommend adjustments to treatment plans, advocates for equity and system movement to support individual identified needs
Obtain status updates and feedback from direct providers and Court officials to assist with development, and implementation of performance improvement activities for participants
Assess discharge planning needs of individuals being released from local jails, hospitals and other treatment agencies and interact with other personnel as needed for release planning
Communicate in a professional manner, orally, written and/or electronically, as a representative of Monroe County to all Court and community providers and partners
Be culturally responsive to the population being served in the development, design, monitoring, evaluation and/or implementation of programs and services.
Have working knowledge of the local behavioral health and social services network to assist with matching individuals with appropriate resources to promote health, wellness, and recovery

POSITION SUMMARY:
To plan, organize, implement and evaluate the archery program at day camp. Actual salary will be based on applicant's experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the archery area and equipment.
Develops and enforces safety measures for the archery area by following GSUSA Activity Check Points, New York State Health Department (NYSHD), National Archery Association (NAA) and the American Camp Association (ACA).
Develops professional goals for the summer that will help support and meet GSWNY's mission and camp goals.
Maintains a well-equipped first aid kit in the archery area.
Reports all incidents/accidents promptly to the supervisor or health supervisor.
Schedules & instructs as many classes as is deemed necessary by the program director.
Responsible for planning and implementing activities within budget. Places supply orders to the Program Director.
Conducts inventories of supplies at the beginning and end of season and communicates supplies needed for purchase to the program director and camp director.
When not acting as Archery Instructor, will assist in other areas of camp as deemed necessary by supervisor of Camp Director.
Assists with overnights when deemed necessary.
Attends staff meetings as scheduled/necessary.
May need to act as bus aide at some point during the summer day camp season (will receive additional pay)

Residential Counselor 2: $22-22.60/hour
Responsibilities
Provide teaching, monitoring and recovery oriented supports in accordance with OMH 593 and 595 including the following rehabilitative services; Assertiveness/Self-Advocacy Training, Community Integration/Resource Development, Daily Living Skills, Health Services, Medication Management Training, Parenting Training, Rehabilitative Counseling, Skill Development, Socialization, Substance Abuse Services, and Symptom Management.
Ensure that each resident on his or her caseload receives comprehensive planning in a person centered approach for; admission (including the completion of admission notes), ongoing recovery oriented services, and discharge.
Observe, monitor, document, and report resident behaviors as well as their progress in accordance with agency standards.
Assist Residents in the preparation of nutritious meals, including food preparation when needed.
Assist in planning, implementation, and support of recreational activities.
Provide safe transporting of resident when needed.
Complete household chores assigned by supervisor to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Supervise and document resident medications in accordance with agency policies.
Perform any other duties necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the community residence.
Qualifications
RC I: High school diploma or GED required. Human services experience preferred. Driving record that meets agency's “clean driving record policy”. Must be at least Eighteen (18) years of age.
RC II: QMHS Standard. Bachelor's degree in Human Services, or an Associate's degree in Human Services with 3-years FT related paid experience, or a High school diploma and 5 years related paid experience. Driving record that meets agency's Clean Driving Record Policy. Must be at least Eighteen (18) years of age.
Work Environment
The DePaul Batavia Apartment Treatment Program provides consumers with the highest level of independence in a program licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. The program is designed to be a preparatory step before the consumer begins to live independently within the community. An emphasis is placed on increasing personal initiative and self-reliance. Staff make routine visits and are available 24-hours a day in case of an emergency.
There are 2 shifts available:
Sunday and Monday 2pm-10:30pm, Tuesday and Wednesday off, Thursday 10am-6:30pm, Friday and Saturday 7am-3:30pm.
Or
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 2pm-10:30pm, Wednesday 10am-6:30pm, Thursday 7am-3:30pm, Friday and Saturday off.

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must attend, participate in and successfully demonstrate required skills during pre-season mandatory ropes course facilitator training in June (date and location to be determined)
Develops professional goals for the summer that will help support and meet GSWNY's mission and camp goals.
Follow GSUSA, ACCT, ACA and NYSDOH standards and regulations.
Teach games, initiative and introductory activities to participants.
Teach participants about each element, including proper use and safety procedures.
Assist in developing and implementing a progression of activities for campers who have registered for ropes course programs.
Provide campers with attainable challenges on the ropes course.
Reports any accidents/incidents to supervisor or health supervisor.
Ensures the proper use and care of all equipment, including recording in ropes log book.
Lead by example.
Emphasize safety.
Conduct daily inspections of equipment for safety, cleanliness and good repair.
Assist in maintaining records of equipment in the Ropes Course Equipment Log daily.
Participates in all aspects of camp including pre-camp, open house and post camp.
When not acting as Ropes Course Counselor will work in unit as Unit Counselor and will assist in all unit activities.
Assists with overnights when deemed necessary
Attend staff meetings when scheduled/necessary.
Apply behavior management techniques to conflicts with children when necessary.
Report suspected child abuse to supervisor immediately.
May need to act as bus aide at some point during the summer day camp season (will receive additional pay)

POSITION SUMMARY:
To plan, organize, implement and evaluate the archery program at day camp. Actual salary will be based on applicant's experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the archery area and equipment.
Develops and enforces safety measures for the archery area by following GSUSA Activity Check Points, New York State Health Department (NYSHD), National Archery Association (NAA) and the American Camp Association (ACA).
Develops professional goals for the summer that will help support and meet GSWNY's mission and camp goals.
Maintains a well-equipped first aid kit in the archery area.
Reports all incidents/accidents promptly to the supervisor or health supervisor.
Schedules & instructs as many classes as is deemed necessary by the program director.
Responsible for planning and implementing activities within budget. Places supply orders to the Program Director.
Conducts inventories of supplies at the beginning and end of season and communicates supplies needed for purchase to the program director and camp director.
When not acting as Archery Instructor, will assist in other areas of camp as deemed necessary by supervisor of Camp Director.
Assists with overnights when deemed necessary.
Attends staff meetings as scheduled/necessary.
May need to act as bus aide at some point during the summer day camp season (will receive additional pay)
If acting as bus aide
Must meet the bus at the terminal or first bus stop in the morning
Take a head count of the campers every day during the morning pick-up and evening drop-off and maintain safety and orderliness on the bus.
Report absent campers to the Assistant Camp Director every morning and evening.
Assure that a parent or other designated adult meets campers before the bus drives off by utilizing the camper pick-up form.
Accepts other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Program Director/ Camp Director

Subscribe to the principles of the Girl Scout Movement and become a registered member of GSUSA;
Successfully pass the required background checks at hire and thereafter;
Maintain reliable transportation to and from home and work;
If travel is required, must possess a valid driver's license, meet minimum state auto insurance requirements, and meet the insurance carrier's requirements for coverage.
Assist the campers in emergency situations.
Lift 35 pounds.
Possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision.
Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of campers.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control and ability to adapt well to changing situations.
Participate in structured and unstructured activities.
Accept and follow directions both in verbal and written form.
Hours & Travel:
Required to stay on the property during hours of operation (MONDAY 8:00am to Friday 5:30 pm)
Must be willing to work in an outdoor setting and in inclement weather.
Experience & Qualifications:
Willingness to abide by the policies and practices of the Girl Scouts of Western New York Inc.
Minimum age: 16 (per New York State Health Department)
Must have current certification in Archery from a recognized organization and have the knowledge/experience to organize and teach archery.
Current certification in First Aid and CPR or individual is willing to complete certification course during designated training day.
Certified Sex Offender Registry and Criminal Background Checks will be completed for personnel file.
Desire and ability to work with and relate to children and peers in an outdoor environment.
Prior camp experience and/or interest in the Girl Scout Camping program helpful.
Willingness to place the needs of girls and camp above personal desires.
Good health and stamina necessary to work in the camp setting.
The acceptance of irregular work hours.
The acceptance and understanding that employment is at a day camp.
GIRL SCOUT MEMBERSHIP:
All Employees of Girl Scouts must maintain an active, annual membership in Girl Scouts of Western New York. This membership must be renewed annually, and all newly hired employees are expected to enroll with GSWNY within the first 30 days of their employment.

Girl Scouts of Western New York seasonal camps are subject to the Federal and New York State exemption laws under Section 13(a)(3) of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Seasonal staff working at camp may be paid in accordance with this exemption. Seasonal employees are not eligible for company-sponsored group benefits.
