Review and ask about other practitioners' involvement in the treatment of these high-risk conditions. Recommend immediate referral to such a specialist in case of need. Flag high-risk patients to the Medical Directors, Physician Extenders, and Regional Clinical Leadership (RCL) and highlight the conditions concerned. Refer such patients to the Medical Directors, Physician Extenders or RCLs (Regional Clinical Leadership) based on the urgency, utilizing the informal Referral Policy or the scheduled Treatment Team/Case Conference session. Prototypes Women's Center-Oxnard provides detoxification and residential substance abuse treatment to women. Our program is unique in that women can bring their children in. The SUD Counselor II is a registered substance use disorder professional who maintains registration from an approved/accredited California agency. The SUD Counselor II is responsible for delivering services to a caseload of clients and providing individualized substance use disorder services. The SUD Counselor II works in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure best possible treatment outcome for the client and provide treatment in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360's philosophy, goals, policies, mission and vision. The SUD Counselor II may provide treatment utilizing different modalities including individual and/or group. Services may be provided in: outpatient office, residential treatment, or the field, based on client and program need. Key Responsibilities Assists clients with intake, assessment, and orientation to program upon admission or transition in care level. Helps lead the client through the treatment plan and delivers individual and group substance use disorder services.
