Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Implementing assessments, completing reports and progress summaries related to the needs for behavioral interventions (ABLLS-R, VBMAPP, FBA's, FA's, etc.)
Designing, implementing, and monitoring high-quality individualized programming and behavior intervention plans for learners
Providing mentorship and overseeing implementation of skill acquisition programs, data collection, BSP's, and procedural fidelity of RBT's and Behavior Technicians (including supervision of RBT's and those working toward that credential; supervision of graduate students seeking BCBA credentials)
Expected to provide supervised fieldwork experience hours to eligible individuals
Responsible for staying informed of the most current requirements for providing supervised fieldwork experiences
Completing supervision CEUs that meet the BACB recertification requirements
Implementation of behavioral skills training and data collection in the coaching and performance management of RBT's and Behavior Technicians
Providing caregiver training sessions through both telehealth and clinic-based sessions
Maintaining and completing session and supervision notes, programming procedures and materials, designing and creating intervention materials, and completing all necessary documentation requirements related to reimbursement from insurance companies and for review by JBK families
Working collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team with all other professionals, including SLP's and OT's
Actively participate and engage in team meetings, trainings, and mentorship sessions
Requirements to Succeed:
Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) certification
Valid State License (LBA) (if applicable)
Must be in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Experience with children with autism

Participates in regular team communications to discuss and develop programming themes, special event planning and participation, patron policies, expectations, issues and concerns, library communication, and community involvement.
Keeps informed about outcomes of departmental community needs assessments to identify patron needs in order to create tailored services and programs for children, teens, and their caregivers.
Coordinates with community schools and other organizations and agencies in order to promote library services, materials, and programs.
Creates informational material, bibliographies, pathfinders, blog posts and/or other resources highlighting books or topics related to children's and YA literature, interests, etc. for the library, the website, or other public information venues; contributes to the monthly staff newsletter; creates internal procedures manuals and troubleshooting guides.
Actively encourages the use of the library and invites community members to participate in library events and activities.
Represents the library at professional meetings, activities, and conferences as assigned; prepare written reports for the Library Director about these events and new learnings.
Remains current on trends in children's and teen literature, programming, and culture through consortium meetings, workshops, and other appropriate seminars.
May perform opening and closing procedures.
Monitors the behavior and conduct of patrons in the Teen Room and Children's Area and intervene as necessary to ensure appropriate conduct.
Seeks out and applies for grants and additional funding; administers funds received and prepares necessary reports.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree; OR, an Associate's degree with six (6) years of related work experience; OR, 8 years of related work experience is required; PLUS
Experience working with and for children and/or teens required.
One year experience developing and presenting programs for teens and/or tweens preferred.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree; four (4) years of directly related work experience with children and/or teens; or equivalent combination of education and experiences

Qualifications
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social or health services field is required;
Master's degree in social or health services field preferred
Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention techniques.
Documentation experience, including maintaining clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress updates in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team with medical staff, case managers, and peer support specialists.

Manage a caseload of patients diagnosed with cognitive behaviors.

Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments.
Experience in roles such as Activities Director, CNA, MA, RN/LPN, or other direct care professionals in geriatrics or memory care settings. If licensed, license must be in good standing.
Actively enrolled in or willing to enroll in a Dementia certification course.
Dementia Care certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification.
Familiarity with behavioral health medications and interventions for this population.
Ability to read and communicate effectively.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to manage and demonstrate effective leadership skills.
