This position supports the consumer products business unit within the Disney Experiences segment of The Walt Disney Company and primarily supports DCP's Branded Retail Businesses. In this role, the successful candidate would provide legal support for DCP's retail (including licensed retail), ecommerce, and wholesale businesses, including but not limited to: store operations, loss prevention, risk management, sourcing and procurement, and supply chain/logistics. As such, the successful candidate must be comfortable with handling diverse legal, regulatory, and compliance issues, and have the judgment to know when to elevate issues to senior attorneys in the department and legal subject matter experts. The successful candidate must also be adept at briefing business clients at all levels, including executives, on complex legal issues.
What You Will Do
Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts in support of store operations, sourcing and procurement, and supply chain/logistics
Provide legal support related to product development and product integrity matters for Disney Store merchandise, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policy
Advise on loss prevention and risk management matters and strategies and support related investigations or compliance efforts as needed
Draft and negotiate technology and ecommerce agreements, including SaaS agreements, to support various aspects of website functionality, logistics, performance metrics, user interface, microsites, and third‑party quality/assurance testing
Provide legal support for the Guest Services and Asset Protection teams
Work closely with and advise business units on a range of business issues, including assessing options and risks associated with each option
Assist with the management of claims and litigation
Draft, update, and improve contract templates
Collaborate with subject‑matter experts within Disney (e.g., privacy, tax, intellectual property, technology, product integrity/safety and international labor standards)
Perform such other responsibilities as may be deemed necessary in support of the Consumer Products segment of Disney Experiences, such as legal support for synergistic marketing
Required Qualifications & Skills
At least 8 years of significant relevant legal experience, preferably in retail or consumer products industries
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and build interdepartmental relationships at all levels
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify and analyze complex issues, assess potential risk and impact and devise creative solutions and strategies
Must have a commercial and solution‑oriented mind‑set, and must be willing to take ownership of projects and think proactively
Ability to evaluate and reconcile issues from both a business unit and enterprise level perspective
Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to work under deadlines and execute efficiently against multiple, high‑priority and high‑volume projects with limited supervision

Compensation
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $212,000.00 to $274,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Program and Role Summary:
Wayfinder's The Haven which opened in 2024 in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement, provides shelter and long-term foster care for unaccompanied children. The program assists children ages 0 to 17 and pregnant or parenting teenagers who enter the country alone and do not have a parent or legal guardian in the U.S. to care for them. The program includes a group home on our L.A. campus housing boys ages 12 to 17, basic foster care in family homes for children ages 0 to 17, and therapeutic foster care in the homes of trained families for children ages 0 to 17 with significant emotional, behavioral, medical or developmental needs. Wayfinder addresses these children's complex, intertwined needs; provides stability; reduces trauma; and locates suitable sponsors.
The primary focus of the YouthCounselor, is centered on helping the residents adjust and stabilize to their new environment and transition to community settings. The focus is on developing daily living skills, socialization, independence, behavior management, and pre-vocational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assists in the planning, organizing, instruction, and participation of recreational activities (swimming, bowling, gym, etc.) with the children on the grounds and in the community.
Provides transportation to residents to community outings, meetings, or other locations by driving agency vehicles.
Implements and follows plan on individualized goals and objectives (meal plans, pre-vocational skills, etc.).
Maintains logs on residents regarding behavior or incidents for communication with staff, parents, and residential staff.
Documentation/record keeping on individual progress, behavior management, daily activities, resident medical, equipment, and clothing needs using appropriate documentation and systems.
Ensures client safety through working collaboratively with the team in appropriately and effectively using the PRO-ACT model when necessary.
Other related duties and activities may become necessary or as directed by a member of the ORR team.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree with 12-semester units in a related field and experience working with youth; a high school diploma is required.
Previously employed as full-time staff or served as a volunteer at a group home or residential program for at least one year is highly preferred.
Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, caregiver, or other relevant experience as determined by the department.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working with at-risk severely emotionally disturbed (SED) youth and/or non-minor dependents is required.
Valid California driver's license and eligibility to drive agency vehicles.
Must be 21 years of age to drive agency vehicles.
Good communication skills, particularly written and oral.
Ability to function as a team member and follow through on recommendations from professional staff. Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.

Overview
Schedule: Day shift - 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (after probationary period)
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: CHAT is accountable for implementing an institution-wide system for healthcare transition while patients are at CHLA and for transfer of care from CHLA to adult providers. This position will be within our Navigation Hub. The Navigation Hub is accountable for providing individualized case management support to referred patients and families. This case management is aimed at supporting the patient/family with transferring to adult providers, insurance navigation, conservatorship or healthcare power of attorney, and public benefits identification and applications. The Social Services Casework is under the supervision of a Master's level social worker, provides specific services to patients and their families. Coordinates case management services. Demonstrates commitment to the principles of family-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year social work/case management experience in a pediatric medical setting or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Billingual skills may be required depending on assignment and patient population.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 2-3 years' experience providing case management or clinical services to patients and families overall; 1+ year of that in a pediatric medical setting (or the equivalent combination of related education and work experience). Experience in providing services to At-risk youth preferred. Experience in working with diverse populations preferred. Experience with insurance and Medicaid preferred. Spanish-language proficiency preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in social work or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience. American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Job Summary
The Mental Health Specialist works as a team member multi-disciplinary homeless street outreach team, in collaboration with social service professionals, ensuring the delivery of quality care in accordance to the rules and regulations established by the Los Angeles Department of Health Services for contracted agencies, as well as adhering to the mission of St. Joseph Center. The E6 MDT Mental Health Specialist will use the “whatever it takes” approach and strong clinical lens to help people experiencing homelessness get connected to resources, and mental health supportive services, in order to obtain permanent housing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mental Health Specialist's key areas of responsibility include:

Provide street based outreach, navigation, and mental health support to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Provide support and assistance to clients with accessing resources in the community. Establish and maintain professional and positive relationships with staff, clients, and community providers.

Link clients to appropriate bridge/interim housing programs and assist them in completing required paperwork in order to enroll them in permanent housing programs.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, conferences, program evaluation and program development.
Essential Duties:
Implement case management service plan goals, emphasizing coordinated strategies for addressing mental health/substance abuse issues, relapse prevention, medication management, and any other risk factors that could impede permanent housing and provide ongoing assessment of client progress in attaining goals.
Build trust and rapport with individuals experiencing homelessness. Assess homeless individuals utilizing the DSM-V.
Utilize a harm reduction model when working with clients with chemical dependency or abuse issues.
Link clients to appropriate bridge/interim housing programs and assist them in completing required paperwork in order to enroll them in permanent housing-related programs.
Keep highly organized files for each client and enter appropriate data into the region's Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
Assist clients to enroll in mainstream benefits and obtain identification (i.e. California Driver's License, Social Security Card).
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the position, which includes transporting clients in company vehicles.
Provide bus tokens, bus passes, taxi vouchers, and/or direct transportation as needed.
Perform daily follow-ups and wellness checks on existing clients and on all new referrals.
Participate in SPA 5 case conferencing meetings and other community meetings.
Coordinate with other outreach teams in joint outreach efforts and attend to special requests from the Coordinated Entry Systems Team.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be highly motivated and a self-starter. The ability to communicate with and relate to a diverse group of people including clients, community, and other staff. Must have excellent organizational skills and the capability to work in a fast paced environment.
Strong knowledge of homeless services and resources. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Housing First, and Critical Time Intervention.
Experience:
Two years' experience providing street-based services to highly vulnerable populations.
Demonstrate experience with providing mental health assessments using diagnostic criteria from the DSM-V
Education:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, human services or a related field.
Direct Reports:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to use widely supported internet browsers.
Ability to accurately enter data in to L.A. County, and St. Joseph Center databases

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Safety Ambassador is part of Mental Health Advocates team under a Department of Mental Health Initiative to increase connection of the community to mental health support. Establish authentic, positive, and supportive relationships with members and provide/welcome feedback.

Serve as the point person for on-site crisis intervention, utilizing de-escalation techniques, risk assessments, and evaluating their ability to safely engage in programing.
Coordinate and facilitate safe exits from the property for individuals experiencing crises, ensuring a supportive and respectful process.
Conduct checks for weapons and unwanted substances in accordance with site safety guidelines.
Promote and coach peers to engage in mental health support and develop mental health management plans and goals.
Provide support and guidance to clients as they enter, ensuring their comfort and addressing any immediate concerns.
Work with staff and community personnel to maintain a safe environment for all program participants.
Work closely with program staff, including clinicians, case managers, and staff personnel, to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to client support

The Metro Mental Health Specialist as part of the DHS ICMS Street Based Engagement Outreach (SBE) Team, will work in a variety of settings that will involve traveling on public transportation and on HYC designated vehicles. The Metro Mental Health Specialist will travel with the MDT Outreach team to a variety of sites including but not limited to transit stops on bus and rail line stops/stations, homeless encampments, shelters, drop-in centers, mobile outreach teams, and other areas as designated by DHS.
The Mental Health Specialist will use the whatever it takes approach to help people experiencing homelessness with mental health support and interventions on the field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate connections with local mental health providers to establish a network of resources.
Provides mental health assessments, counseling, and interventions when necessary.
Provide crisis intervention implementation, especially for clients experiencing the effects of mental health crisis.
Facilitate training among the MDT team regarding helpful practices, methods, and interventions for addressing mental health among people experiencing homelessness.

Complete all necessary paperwork to track client progress (daily logs, ISP, etc.) as well as enter information into the appropriate data management system (HMIS).
Compete paperwork on each face-to-face and telephone contact with the client or any collateral contact by close of business on the next working day.
