Program Overview:
Intercept , developed by Youth Villages, is an evidence-based intensive, in-home program that focuses on keeping families together by preventing out-of-home placements or facilitating reunification after such placements, including foster care, residential treatment facilities, hospitalization, or juvenile detention centers. It is one of the first programs to receive the well-supported designation from Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse developed in accordance with the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) having been shown to reduce out-of-home placements and accelerate permanency for children.
This program serves youth from birth to age 18 who are facing serious emotional or behavioral challenges or have experienced trauma, such as abuse or neglect. Services are provided by highly trained Family Intervention Specialists directly in the family's home and community-Intercept is not an office-based program.
Intercept provides intensive, strength-based support tailored to each family's unique needs, ultimately helping them achieve lasting change through evidence-based mental health interventions, along with the development of new parenting and communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Family Intervention Specialist:
Carries a caseload of 4 to 6 families
Holds individual and family sessions with each family 3 times a week, scheduled at the convenience of the families
Conducts on-going assessment of youth to determine their needs from a strength-focused, solution-based perspective
Attends 3 weekly meetings (individual, team, and clinical consultation) for professional development to help enhance clinical skills
Drives up to 60 to 80 miles to meet with families in their homes and communities (additional travel may be required)
Collaborates with other providers, case workers, and courts to formulate a collaborative treatment plan
Provides on-call crisis support to the youth and family (schedules vary by location)
Completes accurate and timely documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR)
Performs other duties as assigned
Additional Information:
Schedule is flexible and non-traditional as it is based around the availability of youth and families served.
Applicants must possess a current, valid driver's license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance.
Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.
Salary:
$56,000-$60,000 per year based on education and clinical license
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a social services discipline (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline (required)
Degrees that can be considered include: social work, drug and alcohol education or counseling, psychology, criminal justice, guidance counseling, or marriage and family therapy (others subject to review)
Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position (preferred)
Clinical experience (preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Safe at Home is a team of therapists who work intensively with a child and his or her family in their home for a period of 3 weeks or 3 months.
The Home for Little Wanderers' Safe at Home program in Somerville/Cambridge provides In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring services to the Greater Boston area. Comprised of master's level clinicians and bachelor's level therapeutic training and support staff, In-Home Therapy teams provide intensive family therapy services, working to keep children and their families together in the community. Working from a variety of therapeutic modalities, Safe at Home emphasizes a family systems approach that works with every member of the family to help meet therapeutic goals.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with working with children and families. Candidates should also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, superior time management skills, and be able to work both independently and on a team.

Overview
The Community Services Intern will support the Community Services Department in providing case management, client support, and administrative assistance to refugee and immigrant families as they rebuild their lives in the Greater Lowell area. The intern will work closely with staff on various programs including Refugee Support, Matching Grant, Preferred Communities, and other community integration initiatives
Responsibilities
Assist case managers with client intakes, needs assessments, and service coordination.
Support clients with access to essential services such as housing, employment, education, healthcare, and public benefits.
Help with documentation, data entry, and file maintenance in case management systems (e.g., Apricot, RISIS).
Participate in outreach and community events promoting client self-sufficiency and inclusion.

DUTIES:
Provides mental health assessments and treatment activities to clients and their families including individual, family, and group therapy. Provide assessments and brief services to adults in the Portland and Salem Area Offices. Treatment methods will include one-on-one counseling, group counseling, course presentation and use of adventure-based counseling practices. (Challenge course, whitewater rafting, and wilderness treks.)
Work in conjunction with Behavioral Health Program, Indian Child Welfare, Education, and Cultural Program staff in case management and provision of services to Tribal youth and their families to ensure the development of comprehensive community mental health services.
Work with Tribal Program Staff from Siletz and the three Tribal Area Offices in the organization and implementation of an annual Tribal Youth Conference.
Work collaboratively with Tribal Alcohol and Drug, Culture, Education, Health Department, Law Enforcement, Indian Child Welfare, and TANF staff in organization and implementation of treatment and treatment activities.
Work collaboratively with Juvenile Departments and the Oregon Youth Authority within the eleven county service areas.
Develop and assist in gathering data necessary for service provision to include regular documentation and service reports required by various funding agencies.

REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Medical Social Work and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Mental HealthCounselor (LMHC) -OR- an equivalent licensure to the State of Oregon and ability to obtain Oregon licensure within 6-month of hire.

Community Services and Resettlement Internship Overview
The community services team provides case management and other services to newly arrived refugees, asylees and other clients for up to 90 days after arrival, with some case management services provided after the first 90 days. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or above in a behavioral health field of study from an accredited institution.
Currently enrolled OR future scheduled enrollment in a Master's degree program in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or other closely related clinical field.
Experience in behavioral health is a plus but not required.
JOB DUTIES
Provide clinical crisis services for intake, screening, level of care assessment, and coordination with referrals to appropriate services to behavioral health clients.
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, risk assessments, and psychosocial histories of incoming clients.
Collaborate with treatment team, including therapists/counselors, case managers, and prescribers, and participate in clients' ongoing assessment, diagnosis, and collateral treatment.
Provide clinically appropriate treatment and utilize most appropriate evidence-based practice(s) based on clients' needs.
Complete timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record.
Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth.
Participate in supervision and case consultation conferences as necessary.

We know that the best place for children to thrive and grow is in a stable home with their families. Often, youth and their families need additional supports to make home a safe place for a child that is struggling with their mental and behavioral health. Safe at Home is a team of therapists who work intensively with a child and his or her family in their home for a period of 3 weeks or 3 months.
The Home for Little Wanderers' Safe at Home program in Somerville/Cambridge provides In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring services to the Greater Boston area. Comprised of master's level clinicians and bachelor's level therapeutic training and support staff, In-Home Therapy teams provide intensive family therapy services, working to keep children and their families together in the community. Working from a variety of therapeutic modalities, Safe at Home emphasizes a family systems approach that works with every member of the family to help meet therapeutic goals.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with working with children and families. Candidates should also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, superior time management skills, and be able to work both independently and on a team.
How You Will Be Making a Difference
* Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive In Home Therapy services for clients and families.
* Provide intensive family therapy.
* Act as a liaison with collateral agencies and programs.
* Identify and utilize community resources that support children's and family's growth.
* Act as an advocate for families and help parents to build advocacy skills for themselves and their children.
* Act as part of CBHI wrap-around service model.
* Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Qualifications
* Masters Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
* Previous experience working with children and families in a therapeutic capacity highly preferred.
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
* Licensed and insured driver with reliable and consistent access to a car.
* Evening availability required.
* Computer literate including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software applications.

About this role:
Our Martha's Vineyard Licensed Mental HealthCounselor is part of a team of pediatric specialists that provide family-centered services that support and enable families to meet their child's individual needs through education, training, and support. This program involves collaborating with a team of specialists who are experts in children's physical, cognitive, communication, social, emotional, and adaptive development. This program works with children 0-3 years of age.
Schedule: FFS; Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
Compensation: $62.80-65.48/hour
*FFS is as needed, capped at 20 hours/week, and is not benefits eligible.*
We are looking for EI Mental HealthCounselors who have:
Valid LMHC or LMFT license.
Pediatric Experience
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for the island
The physical requirements for Early Intervention are:
Frequent movement within the home, but not limited to: kneeling, bending, sitting, lifting, and positioning of children
Operation of adaptive and specialized equipment
Ability to lift 50 pounds alone, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person or adaptive equipment
Ability to physically assist individuals as determined by their needs
Ability to tolerate significant amounts of walking, standing, and sitting
As an EI MHC's, you'll get to:
Partner with families on Martha's Vineyard to identify each child's strengths and developmental needs
Develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) with the family
Work closely with a transdisciplinary team on program planning and delivery of services
Oversee case management and referral services to assigned caseload
Conduct home visits on Martha's Vineyard to provide developmental stimulation, parent training, and support
Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, IFSPs, and discharge summaries
Maintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each child's care
Provide information to parents that enable them to make informed decisions for their child's progress
