It is one of the first programs to receive the well-supported designation from Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse developed in accordance with the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) having been shown to reduce out-of-home placements and accelerate permanency for children. The Cardiovascular Device Nurse will provide thorough, competent interrogations and reprogramming of cardiac devices implanted in patients, including, but not limited to Pacemakers, Implantable Loop Recorders, and Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators. This will include device interrogations completed in the inpatient, procedural, and outpatient settings as well as remotely monitored patients. The Cardiovascular Device Nurse will complete initial interrogations, report generation, charges, and documentation in the Electronic Health Record and Device Management Systems as well as bring acute/urgent issues to the attention of providers. The nurse collaborates closely with other members of the Heart Rhythm Service Line care team as well as other allied health staff and providers external to the department.
This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
Qualifications
Graduate of a nursing program.
All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.

We are seeking a dynamic educator with a passion for nutrition and healthy cooking to join our team as a part-time/per diem Nutrition Educator in Miami, FL (bilingual - English/Spanish). The ideal candidate is a teacher-who-can-cook or cook-who-can-teach to work, and is a Registered Dietitian who has professional experience working with clients or patients.
A Common Threads Nutrition Educator is the face of the organization, teaching hands-on cooking classes and nutrition education to PreK-8th grade students, parents, and teachers in schools and academic spaces, and building relationships with partner sites and the community. Nutrition Educators teach classes in both virtual and in-person settings.
All of our programming consists of nutrition lessons, ranging in topic from basic information to targeted health conditions. Each program emphasizes healthy eating habits and healthy cooking methods with affordable nutrient-dense ingredients. Programs may also engage participants in hands-on cooking through the teaching of basic culinary skills and techniques.
This is a part-time variable hour position that will generally work 5-10 hours a week when classes are in session. Evenings and/or weekends may be required.
Responsibilities:
Complete training on Common Threads curriculum, policies and procedures, and administrative responsibilities
Teach children and adults cooking skills and provide nutrition education, virtually and/or in person
Follow the approved course curriculum and lesson plans
Complete all grocery shopping and recipe demonstrations, and submit required documentation as needed
Administer pre- and post-surveys to program participants and manage paperwork
Communicate with Common Threads partner organization staff, as well as with Common Threads staff

A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
DCF 45-hour training preferred, or must be started within 30 days of hire and completed within 6 months.
Prior experience in a child care setting preferred.
Knowledge of child growth and development as well as developmentally appropriate practices for children ages birth to 5 years.
Knowledge of applicable safety and abuse reporting procedures.
Must successfully pass the required criminal background check prior to employment and every five years; must complete Protecting God's Children (PGC) workshop prior to employment.
Must complete TB screening and physical within ten (10) days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter.
Must register and complete Infant & Child First Aid and CPR certification within 6 months of hire and renew prior to expiration.
Must be able to complete 35 hours of in-service training each fiscal year.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, vendors, employees, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

This Opportunity:Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the Intern will engage in direct client care, support group services, and contribute to the overall mission of the agency. This internship offers practical experience in a trauma-informed, client-centered setting and supports the intern's academic and professional development.What You'll Do:
Provide individual therapy to a small, supervised caseload.
Co-facilitate therapeutic or psychoeducational groups.
Assist with intake assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning as appropriate.
Complete clinical documentation in accordance with agency and ethical standards.
Attend weekly individual clinical supervision with an assigned Senior Therapist.
Participate in group supervision and/or case consultation meetings.]
Complete required agency trainings and workshops.
Attend staff meetings and clinical team meetings as assigned.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in compliance with agency, legal, and ethical guidelines.
Responsible for keeping track of internship hours and any related record-keeping for the academic institution
Participate in agency projects or initiatives as assigned (e.g., curriculum development, outreach, evaluation).
Follow all HIPAA, confidentiality, and professional conduct standards.
