RESPONSIBILITIES * Serve as a Mechanical Lead on a EPC power Project. * Provide strong leadership to drive mechanical technical design and project coordination. * Manage Project Schedules and Budgets as well as provide weekly reports to communicate project status, issues, and needs. * Prepare and maintain resource plans. * Prepare equipment inquiry/RFQ packages. * Perform equipment technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations. * Review equipment vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards. * Develop job notes and technical scopes of work. * Perform field walk downs to collect information required to complete work. * Prepare man-hour estimates for proposals. * Attend Client, Vendor, and Internal Team meetings. * Present technical information to peers or other personnel for review, to implement operating procedures, and resolve system malfunctions. * Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. * Provide specific to discipline technical expertise to the degree of preparing and providing training for other personnel; both within the company and for the customer. * May supervise, coordinate, and review work of a small staff of engineers or designers on assigned work. * As a Licensed Professional Engineer, seals and signs all documentation produced by own work.
