* THIS IS MAINTENANCE*NO PER DIEM* Install, repair and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, equipment and fixtures. Journeyman Electrician I will perform work underground and above ground performing cable and conduit installations. Perform electrical maintenance repairs in an Industrial setting while leading lesser skilled electricians to ensure a safe work environment. High school diploma as well as the successful completion of a four-year apprenticeship is required to become a lineman. Possess excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and organizational, and analytical skills. Must have a valid CDL license Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical power lines and auxiliary equipment. This includes work from power plants to the meters of customers homes. Additionally, a lineman digs trenches for the installation of underground lines, install meters, climb poles to repair overhead lines and inspect power lines for possible repair or replacement.
