Zayo Group CEO and leadership

Served as CEO & President of Equinix from 2007 - 2018. Led the transformation of a $400 million dollar data center company into the clear industry leader in the Internet Infrastructure Sector and the largest global data center platform in the world with a firm value of approximately $46 billion dollars. Platform Equinix extended operations across 5 continents, 26 countries and 52 metropolitan areas with more than 10,000 of the most critical service providers and enterprises in the world.Previously I was with HP, where I served as Senior Vice President of HP Services and oversaw the organization's Consulting and Integration, Managed Services, and Technology Deployment and Support business groups. My tenure with HP came after spending more than 16 years with Electronic Data Systems Corporation in roles that spanned sales, business development, operations, acquisition-driven integration, and the management of international growth.

Matt Steinfort is CFO at Zayo, overseeing all financial operations as well as corporate development, investor relations, treasury, tax and legal. Matt joined Zayo in 2016 as executive vice president of Corporate Strategy, Development, and Administration, where he oversaw corporate functions that drove business strategy and supported Zayo’s business segments. Matt has an extensive background in general management, corporate strategy, and M&A as well as experience in other executive positions.

Matt joined Zayo from Envysion, which he founded together with Zayo’s Dan Caruso and Rob Hagens, and where he remains on the board of directors. As president and CEO, Matt was responsible for the company’s vision, strategic direction and day to day operations. Prior to Envysion, he was senior vice president of Corporate Strategy at ICG Communications and held a variety of executive roles at Level 3 Communications, including vice president of Consumer Voice, vice president of Strategy and vice president of Finance.

Earlier in his career, Matt held positions at management consultancy Bain & Company and IT consultancy Cambridge Technology Partners. Matt received a bachelor’s in civil engineering and operations research from Princeton University and an MBA from the MIT-Sloan School of Management.

Tschida Brown has over 20 years of expertise as a global leader, working with executive teams to develop comprehensive solutions across organizational transformation, merger and acquisition integration, executive and broad-based compensation, benefits, performance management, career development, succession planning, change management, HRIS and shared services. She joins Zayo from Transamerica where, as Chief People Officer, she led the Employee Experience team to drive the realization of business objectives and accelerate cultural transformation. Julie has also served in various executive and leadership positions at IHS Markit, Jacobs Engineering, Microsoft, Washington Group International (now AECOM) and Hewitt Associates (now AON).

David Brainard is a CFO, Allstream at ZAYO GROUP HOLDINGS, INC. and CFO at Allstream and is based in Edwards, Colorado. He has worked as Audit Manager at KPMG. David studied at Santa Clara University between 1997 and 2001.
