Zebra's Product Management team drives the development of product definition and planning to optimize the company's products and solutions. The team applies broad knowledge of Zebra's product and solutions capabilities as well as the competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product opportunities. Product Management oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share.
The Product Management team also evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case development for optimization of existing products and solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products. Collaborates with research and development to create products and validate early product definitions. This role is both strategic and technical in nature and requires meaningful industry experience.
As a Senior Manager, Product Management, you will be responsible for a specific product line contribution to the overall business unit. This includes increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the growth and business success of an assigned product line life cycle and/or product category.
* Manages product managers in both developing strategies and managing tactical execution of product growth and development plans as well as delivering management objectives, coaching, and mentoring
* Ensures ongoing review of the competitive environment for his/her product category. This is accomplished through analysis of competitive equipment and compilation of other pertinent findings, and the information thus gained is published and/or presented on a regular basis
* Ensures organization works with the Product Marketing and Marketing Communications in developing product promotion programs.
* Collaborates with peers to ensure that positioning and factual content are correct, and that timing for release of promotional materials fits with the product launch schedule. In addition, product positioning and pricing strategies are owned and managed by the Senior Product Manager and team who coordinate the communication of this information within product marketing
* Product Life Cycle Management
* Works closely with operations and supply chain to properly manage: forecast, ramp plans, component obsolescence, misaligned sales orders, yield issues, and product hold issues.
* Manages transitions and discontinuations of product line
* Manages product related communications to both internal and external associates
* Actively supports the sales organization as required in select sales presentations, proposals and opportunities. Responsible for competitive analysis, as represented in developed presentation materials including detailed metrics and analysis to support business case and product development process
* Works closely with internal stakeholders throughout the development process in negotiating design trade-offs that may be needed, while preserving the requirements stated in the market requirements document (MRD). Internal stakeholders include but not limited to product marketing, end users, channel partners, sales, engineering, support organizations, and manufacturing
* Travel as needed to visit customers, partners, attend seminars, trade shows or meet area sales personnel
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum 12+ years' experience, including at least 3 years managing multiple product managers in related discipline or technology industry REQUIRED
* Familiarity with PBX systems (e.g., Asterisk, Cisco, Avaya) REQUIRED
* Understanding of SIP, RTP, SRTP, and WebRTC protocols REQUIRED
* Working knowledge of PTT standards (e.g., MCPTT, PoC, 3GPP standards) REQUIRED
* Experience measuring packet loss, codec efficiency (Opus, G.711, G.729), and QoS REQUIRED
* Ability to travel as needed to visit customers, partners, attend seminars, trade shows or meet area sales personnel

The Global Product Director of Industrial Automation for technologies including Fixed Industrial Scanning, Machine Vision, and RFID leads the strategy, development and delivery of product marketing programs in support of the go-to-market growth plans of the firm. We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Product Manager that is responsible for building data insights platforms to answer the most critical questions for our business : How is our investment in AI impacting productivity? How healthy are our technical operations? And how is it all driving business results?
This role is responsible for creating measurements, intelligence platforms and insights across three core domains: enterprise AI productivity, technical product operations (system performance, cloud costs, security), and business outcomes (sales, customer satisfaction, finance).

* Figuring out if our big bets on AI are paying off. You'll be the one to measure how new AI tools-like code assistants-are impacting our developers' speed and quality of work. Your findings will help us decide where to invest next.
* Bringing our tech data together. Our teams are incredible, but their data is all over the place. You'll be the one to finally bring it all together. Think of one central place to see our system availability (SRE), cloud spend (FinOps), and security status, without needing to open ten different tabs with clear insights in each of these areas.
* Connecting code to cash. This is the big one. You'll sit down with our leaders in Sales, Customer Support, and Finance to build the dashboards they actually want to use-the ones that clearly show how our performance is impacting the sales pipeline and customer happiness.
* Being our data champion. You won't just build things; you'll get people to use them. Your goal is to make data a natural part of every important conversation we have as a company.
* Execution & Delivery:
* Partner closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and development teams to design and refine dashboards.
* Work with the development team to establish clear timelines, manage the product backlog, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
* Adoption & Stakeholder Management:
* Be the face of the team with executives, regularly communicating the insights, product roadmap, progress against goals, and the value proposition of your products.

What You'll Do:
Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies, including leading competitive bidding processes (RFx), negotiating favorable terms and conditions, and managing contract lifecycle. Secure optimal pricing, quality, and service levels.
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews and manage supplier performance to meet business objectives.
Cost Reduction & Process Improvement: Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives, process improvements, and best practices. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate the value delivered.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, from individual contributors to senior leadership, to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies with overall organizational goals. Present confidently and persuasively.
Contract Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation and execution to renewal and termination. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis:Develop and manage budgets, forecast spend, and analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and category management.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in using procurement tools and technologies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Location: Employee must be based in the Greater Chicago or Greater Boston Area with the expectation to be in office 3 days per week.
Target Base Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00
