Responsibilities:
* Assist students with social/emotional needs, working with administration and professional support staff (social workers, psychologists, etc.) to meet student needs.
* Monitor student progress and risk indicators, including behavioral data. Support development and implementation of intervention plans for these students.
* Support both students and parents to increase attendance, when attendance is an issue.
* Coordinate support for student success through communication with school staff, including teachers, support staff, and community mentoring/tutoring programs.
* Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with parents using a variety of media.
* Work closely with school social workers and administration to support students.
* Provide parents with applicable resources, county agency resource connections, and other resources as appropriate to assist parents in supporting their student's progress in school.
* Occasionally work with students on discipline issues, under the supervision of the principal and/or other building administrators. This is not a primary function of this position, but it will be required from time to time. The Elementary Student Success Coordinator is not the "go-to" person for all discipline, but they may be an important "go-to" person for the individual students they work with.
* Be a visible presence in the hallways, lunchroom, and recess and actively work to develop relationships with all students.
* Willing to be CPI trained as needed.

Before and after school program hours are 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm during the school year. Summer camp program hours are 6:30 am - 6:00 pm. Additional hours required for planning and preparation.

Summary:
The Zeeland East Wrestling Assistant Coach is responsible to aid in the development and growth of the wrestling program. This position reports to the Varsity Coach.
Responsibilities:
Attends athletic department meetings when scheduled.
Passes MHSAA rules meetings online on a yearly basis.
Maintains professional competency by attending clinics.
Encourages athletes to excel in academic work.
Oversees the safety conditions of the area when team members are practicing.
Assists the Varsity Coach in enforcing disciplined behavior, code of fair play, and establishes and oversees penalties for not following team and school standards.
Establishes an effective relationship with players, parents, and administrators.
Attends practices, games, and meetings punctually.
Uses professional conduct, language, and decorum with players, opponents, officials, and fans.
Works with the Athletic Director to maintain player eligibility information.
Keeps the Athletic Director informed of any or all problems before, during, or after all sporting events.
Teaches individual participants the skills necessary for the highest possible achievement in the sport involved.
Assists players regarding future plans. Example: college entrance, scholarships, and so forth.
Is a positive role model.
Works to promote increased participation to improve methods, techniques, strengths, and endurance both in and out of season.
Displays self-control and maintains a positive profile in contest situations with officials.
Provides supervision of the locker room and training room.
Encourage volunteerism amongst athletes, parents and community.
Exhibit willingness to assist the program in duties as assigned by varsity head coach
Performs such other services and assumes such other duties as assigned by the administrator in charge, which are not in violation of the master contract, school district policies, or rules and regulations.
