Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished SVP, Data Center Delivery with proven experience in GW campus environments, engineering, and program management. Strategic Leadership and Portfolio Optimization:
Lead the master planning, development, and repositioning of Foundation and Corporate Research Center assets into higher and better uses, aligning with long-term organizational goals. Develop and execute strategies for portfolio optimization, including acquisitions, liquidations, redevelopment, and strategic movement into new markets and property types. Identify, evaluate, and pursue opportunities to optimize the real estate portfolio, increase revenues, and elevate the Foundation's assets through innovative development and negotiation.
Deal Making and Negotiation:
Serve as the chief negotiator for acquisitions, joint ventures, and development partnerships, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with Foundation objectives. Drive the redevelopment of mixed-use centers and commercial properties, leveraging market trends and data-informed insights to maximize value. Oversee the acquisition and liquidation of major donated assets, ensuring optimal and timely dispositions to generate income for University programs.
Innovations and Partnerships Collaboration:
Champion the creation and expansion of innovation clusters within the Corporate Research Center.
Pursue public-private partnership (P3) opportunities and scale up technology transfer initiatives to support research commercialization and tenant engagement.
Collaborate with the Innovations and Partnerships team to position the Corporate Research Center as a dynamic hub for research, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration.
Advisory and Governance:
Advise the CEO, Foundation Board, and VTCRC Board on major planning, development, and investment decisions, providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations. Participate in the internal Real Estate Investment Committee to evaluate, approve, and oversee viable development opportunities and new ventures. Prepare and present comprehensive market analyses, investment proposals, and strategic plans to senior leadership and governing boards.
Financial Impact and Performance:
Grow portfolio value through targeted acquisitions, redevelopment, and new ventures, optimizing the value of held real estate assets. Solicit, evaluate, and pursue other commercial opportunities that align with the Foundation's mission and financial objectives. Monitor financial performance of investment decisions, develop budgets, and implement strategies to maximize returns and ensure the sustainability of real estate investments.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including University partners, tenants, vendors, and community leaders. Advise and collaborate with the CFO, VTCRC President, Chief Transformation Officer, and other key executives to ensure alignment of real estate strategies with organizational priorities. Represent the Foundation in negotiations, public forums, and industry events, promoting its interests and enhancing its reputation.
Organizational Leadership:
Lead, supervise, and develop a high-performing team of in-house asset managers and third-party property managers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. Promote operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across all aspects of real estate development and management. Basic Qualifications

**Position Overview**
As a LoopNet **Regional Director** , you will join a growth-oriented, innovative company and represent the industry's most advanced digital advertising and marketing solutions. You'll collaborate with top owners and brokers to craft comprehensive digital strategies that showcase and distinguish their property portfolios online.
In this role, you will manage a team of sales professionals focused on expanding new and existing customer relationships, driving product adoption, preventing account reversals, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for increasing revenue by selling new advertising and marketing solutions, growing existing accounts, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
All new Regional Directors receive extensive classroom and field training to ensure they are equipped with the product expertise and industry knowledge needed to build market credibility, represent our brand with pride, and achieve long-term career success.
**Responsibilities**
+ Attract, hire, motivate, and develop high-performing sales professionals capable of meeting or exceeding defined sales quotas
+ Spend 3-4 days per week in the field on sales calls, providing coaching and training to enhance team effectiveness
+ Drive regional and team revenue growth, consistently meeting or surpassing annual sales targets
+ Lead efforts to identify, prioritize, and secure new client relationships while retaining and expanding existing accounts; build strong familiarity with all major market players
+ Monitor sales performance and hold team members accountable for maintaining the required level of activity and client engagement to meet business goals
+ Actively manage weekly team activities, including attendance at CoStar offices, coaching sessions, and timely use of Enterprise CRM systems to track sales activity, pipeline development, and account assignments
+ Set individual and team performance goals aligned with broader business objectives; address performance issues promptly and make necessary personnel changes to ensure targets are met
+ Mentor and develop all team members to support their professional growth
+ Promote and reinforce CoStar Group's culture and values across the team

**Basic Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of experience directly managing 5-10 sales professionals within Commercial Real Estate, Digital Advertising/Marketing or adjacent transactional sales; including the ability to attract, hire, train and develop a high performing sales team.
+ Experience leading sales efforts in a highly transactional, consultative sales oriented, fast-paced organization with a short cycle-time sales model.
+ 2+ years of commercial real estate (CRE) related experience
+ Experience being responsible for a book of business in excess of $1 million in annual revenue.
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited not-for-profit in person University or College, required
+ Demonstration of commitment to prior employers.
+ Candidates must possess a current and valid driver's license.
+ Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
+ _Internal applicants_ are expected to have 5+ years of sales experience, in addition to 18+ months at a CoStar Sales Executive level or higher while meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
**Preferred Qualifications & Skills**
+ Demonstrated ability to build long-term and sustainable relationships and business partnerships with clients at all levels.
+ Demonstrated track record of rapidly growing a sales territory or market through organic growth via a combination of new client acquisition and existing account growth and consistently exceeding sales performance targets over multiple years.
+ Effective internal relationship building skills (superiors, peers, teams, company-wide) and externally (sales channels, customers, etc.).
+ Demonstrated ability to retain proven sales producers and performance manage non-producers.
+ Ability to travel 25-30%.
+ Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company.
