Purge material. Ensures raw materials, in process and finished products meet company standards. General documentations updated (Quality alerts). 0600pm-0600am Rotating Shift Responsibilities: Perform dosimetry measurements and daily dose lab activities (releasing, pairing, delivery of dose trays, report generation, cleaning). Conduct microbiological testing including bioburden, endotoxin, and media assessments. Perform environmental monitoring using viable air samplers and other advanced lab equipment. May be required to assist with Corrective Action investigations. Has the ability to address environmental excursions that occur in controlled environments. Has the ability to identify, escalate and investigate alert/OOS results related but not limited to dosimetry, microbial testing and environmental monitoring. Can create and maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and documentation, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Good handwriting required. Has strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to move between tasks efficiently. Has good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams. Has basic computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office applications required. Familiarity with laboratory information management system (LIMS) a plus. Has ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Will be required to use whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages. Can read and comprehend moderately complex procedures and work instructions. Has the ability to think critically, troubleshoot problems and interpret test data independently Having knowledge of GLP, GMP, USP, ISO and other regulatory standards is a plus. This person will work under minimal supervision once fully trained. Selects processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and checks for a variety of features, including ESD (electro-static discharge) and handling practices, documentation, training and process integrity. Selects products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical or cosmetic characteristics. Records audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures. Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. Perform calibration on inspection tools e.g. micrometers, calipers height gages etc. Maintain gage track program, print list of gages due for calibration in the beginning of each month and follow up with calibration. Send gages out for calibration, maintain calibration records. Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for research data. Download quality information from quality system to be used for QA reports. Research for engineering test results and implements process changes to resolve problems. Performs out of box audits (OBA) as required. Provides factory hold up to identify and resolve issues associated with purchased parts, materials and manufacturing. May be required to perform receiving inspection. Review at the beginning of the shift the Quality Auditors assistance and validated the Check List. Scrap disposition at MRB in less than 24 hours. Assure that the Customer implementation activities are in place. Meet the SSYMA requirements (boats, goggles, gloves, ear plugs). Review the SPC data and confirm the actions are effective. Validate the tooling and gauges are working properly (microscope, magnifier, etc). Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience. Visually inspects cloth on grading machine Separates into A1 & A2 or seconds category and records on supplied tickets. Must be able to push rolls of cloth weighing up to 1200 pounds and sew together with sewing machine on dolly. Brush off grading frame at end of each shift and remove trim waste from sewing machine basket. Record yards on batch up rolls. Check defect and remove defect when needed. Doff roll from batcher and any small cuts of off quality that is doffed from take up of grading frame. Count picks in cloth with pick glass. Must be able to use and read measuring tape. Must be able to read basic written instructions and perform basic math calculations with calculator. Must be able to doff and lift damaged cloth weighing 15 to 20 pounds. Must be able to work with little supervision. Must be able to distinguish colors. Must follow prescribed safety rules for job assignment. Must be able to wear respirator/dust mask, hearing protection, and other required pieces of equipment.
