Develop and deliver employee training on GMPs, food safety, allergen control, sanitation, and quality awareness.
Promote a culture of food safety and continuous improvement throughout the facility.

The Quality Associate plays a vital role within the Quality Assurance Department, contributing to the consistent delivery of high-quality products and processes. This multifaceted position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including inspection and testing activities, internal audits, documentation control, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree or Technical Certificate required
2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within electronics manufacturing.
Familiarity with electronic/electrical components and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, multimeters, AOI).
Understanding of environmental regulations (RoHS, REACH, Prop 65).
Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong work ethic and professional relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently after training.
Flexible and willing to cross-train across QA functions.
Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and visual aids.
Competent in computer navigation and data entry.
Team-oriented with a track record of success in fast-paced environments.
Able to perform job functions without posing a safety risk to others.
Experience with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Standards.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications (GD&T).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Coordinate and oversee corrective and preventive action activities across manufacturing operations.
Track, document, and maintain corrective action records in accordance with company requirements.
Ensure timely closure of corrective action tasks and verify effectiveness of solutions.
Lead investigations into product or process non-conformances.
Facilitate problem-solving sessions using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify systemic issues.
Create or revise work instructions or procedures to support improvement actions.
Technical writing ability and knowledge of document & configuration control.
Prepare reports and summaries of corrective action status.
Support internal and external audits by providing corrective action documentation and objective evidence.
Recommend process improvements to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
Provide training and guidance to employees on corrective action and best practices.
Monitor trends in non-conformances and proactively address recurring issues.
Perform quality system and process audits.
Perform product inspections and nonconformance dispositions.
Experience with QT9 QMS a plus.
All other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance or corrective action coordination.
Strong knowledge of CAPA processes, ISO 9001, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
Proficiency in quality tools and software for managing & tracking corrective actions & tasks.
Ability to assess adequacy of objective evidence to approve and close corrective actions.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, FMEA, control plans, etc.)
Working experience with Microsoft programs: MS Word, Power Point, Visio, Excel, Outlook.
Strong aptitude for learning software and managing data.
Demonstrated people and leadership skills, including conflict resolution, problem solving, and performance management.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with staff from diverse disciplines and backgrounds.

Job Summary

Analyze retention samples and collect required samples while maintaining an organized and documented sample inventory.
Report any deviations to the appropriate supervisor so timely adjustments can be made to prevent out-of-specification product.
Release product that meets established standards and place product on hold when it does not meet specifications.
Follow up on any forms or documentation pending due to production processes.
Communicate any deviations, changes, or held product to the incoming shift.
Request support from a supervisor or lead when questions or concerns arise.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
