**Job Summary:**
Works as a mechanical skilled trades person supporting the repair and maintenance of the production equipment.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Operates Mobile CMMS Device for Reactive Calls and Preventive Maintenance assignments.
+ Must use safety awareness in accordance with MIOSHA standard Lockout Tagout, Confined Space, and Hot Work Permits.
+ Assists in maintaining the mechanics on machining and grinding centers, heat-treat furnaces, and assembly lines.
+ General Pipe Fitting Skills- Assembly, replacements
+ Assists in maintaining the operation of conveyors, automation, robotics, and mechanical systems.
+ Assists in the maintenance and operation of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Force presses, gauging stations, automated welding assembly systems, wash tanks, pipefitting, and for work piece holding.
+ Will be required to acquire knowledge of Tribology to perform lubrication routes in accordance with equipment defined lubrication intervals
+ Assist in performing filter changes at OEM intervals balanced with equipment performance determined intervals.
+ Assist in Maintaining all ZF delivery systems (grease, Loctite, rouge, gasses)
+ Assist in fabrication and/or assemble from prints, wearable parts, part components from spares, or other directives identified from equipment failure.
+ Inspect and operate various types of mobile equipment such as Hoists and Forklifts safely.
+ Able to spot Rigging events.
+ Assist in setup to weld with Tig, Mig or stick welding.
+ Follow all safety requirements and processes.
+ Actively seek to effectively troubleshoot failure or imminent failure on equipment.
+ Support all Equipment Reliability initiatives.
+ Must work in an efficient manner to minimize equipment downtime.
+ Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training.
+ Comply with all IATF policies and procedures.
+ Required to work in team-based environment and independently.
+ Must accept direction from various management team members.
+ Must be able to work with outside vendors/contractors.
+ Provide input into plant RCA process (Root Cause Analysis)
+ Provide input for periodic PM reviews- Machine Reliability

**Essential Skills and Experience:**
+ Minimum of three (3) years verified mechanical experience
+ General of Electrical - PLC (PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER), CNC (Computer Numerical Control) controls, machining, grinding, and assembly systems.
+ Knowledge and awareness of Predictive Maintenance tools, such as Infrared, Ultrasound, and Vibration Analysis
+ Must have up-to-date technological training and experience of newer state-of-the-art equipment.
+ Must have own tools. -Excluding Specialty Tools
**Preferred Skills and Experience:**
+ Manufacturing experience.
+ Knowledge and experience with Preventive Maintenance, CMMS programs
+ Experience in the Automotive industry
+ German and/or Spanish language skills

Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly Planning

**About the Team:** The Assembly Planning Manufacturing Engineer will join a dynamic and collaborative team within ZF Axle Drives Marysville, LLC, part of Division E - Axle Drives, and will work closely with the international Assembly Planning team as well as the Marysville Engineering team. The team is focused on driving innovation and excellence in axle drive manufacturing. This position plays a key role in guiding technical and assembly planning initiatives across Region North America, supporting industrialization and program launches while ensuring alignment with ZF standards and customer expectations.
**What you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer:**
+ Oversee assembly planning activities within Region North America to support internal and external customers, including but not limited to pre-planning conceptualization and capital investment analyses, specification development, equipment vendor selection, installation/commissioning of assembly equipment (e.g. first run-off), and production releases of equipment and manufacturing procedures.
+ Develop capital models for equipment cost estimation activities; analyze cost/pricing differences between new investment and equipment changeovers.
+ Complete vendor assessments for selection initiatives through on-site visits and performance analyses.
+ Serve as primary contact/liaison to customer; identify customer specifications for new and existing products and develop equipment and assembly process specifications (i.e. design changes, new features, etc.).
+ Ensure implementation of planning phase for equipment installations in the plant related to pre-series and launch management projects in coordination with the manufacturing planning department in Germany.
+ Establish planning and corrective action procedures for production and maintenance teams to ensure minimal operation downtime and commercial impact for line stoppages or cycle times.
+ Support change management processes regarding launch management timing and engineering change implications (i.e. quotations, validations, timing, communications to affected departments/groups, etc.).
**Your profile as a Manufacturing Engineer:**
+ B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related Engineering field.
+ 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a Tier-1 Supplier or OEM environment.
+ 3+ years of experience with project supervision in one or more of the following areas: industrialization, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing planning, and/or program/launch management.
+ 2+ years of experience with Bills of Material (BOM) structures, manufacturing equipment/tooling planning, design change procedures, and the technical and manufacturing facets of product development.
+ Knowledge of passenger car powertrain technology. Basic understanding of the technical facets & economics of the axle or driveline industry
+ Proficient with Axalant or comparable engineering change system.
+ Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 30%) - e.g. to Germany, etc.
+ **Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.**
