Responsibilities
Program Operations
Provide direct support and supervision during travel events.
Assist and support individuals to ensure participation in the activities.
Break down tasks or parts of an activity into manageable components so that people of all abilities can participate to the best of their ability.
Assist with daily living skills including meal preparation and eating.
Assist adults with a variety of aspects of personal care, include toileting, grooming and ambulating.
Ensure the activities and the health and safety needs of the individuals are consistently met.
Administer medications as prescribed and document administration.
Display an awareness of individuals needing physical assistance with ambulation.
Recognize the needs and desires of the individual and provide appropriate support.

Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Receiver will be responsible for all receiving needs. Unloading, receiving, and putting away all materials/ingredients after they are received into the system. The receiver will also drive our cycle count program and support the internal warehouse team as needed.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Versiti Supervisor Transportation, executes standard processes and policies for transportation courier services including blood product hospital deliveries and returns, donor center and mobile blood pick-ups, supply deliveries, distribution site transfers, Diagnostic Lab sample pick-ups, Pharmacy deliveries, and Donor Testing Lab tube deliveries, in a safe and timely fashion while meeting customer expectations and complying with applicable regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Ensures the safety, purity, potency and efficacy of products by following Versiti procedures in handling of all blood and blood products
Communicates any fleet maintenance needs, completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuels vehicles, and general vehicle upkeep
Organize non-scheduled STAT deliveries and special requests to maintain efficiency and meet customer requirements
Practices defensive driving techniques, complete vehicle driving and safety training course (online or in person)
Executes Versiti customer service strategies designed to meet and/or exceed customer requirements
Completes all Versiti required training on time
Adheres to the laboratory safety policies as outlined in the department manual and employee handbook
Responsible for vehicle cleanliness, assuring no products, equipment, samples or materials remain in the vehicle at the end of the shift
Appropriate appearance and uniform required
Complete all paperwork correctly
Demonstrates courtesy for other drivers and consideration for weather and road conditions

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Fixed Route Driver is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of passengers through the operation of a public transportation vehicle. The Transit Driver will follow a planned bus route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off passengers, collect fares and answer questions about the bus route. Communicates with the dispatcher during the route; provides updates to the dispatcher and reports emergencies, traffic patterns, incidents or accidents.
Essential Functions
Completes pre and post-trip bus inspections and prepares reports at the end of shift
Obey traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations
Safely complete bus route on schedule
Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
Assist the disabled and elderly with embarking and disembarking as needed
Assist with stowing luggage and bicycles
Maintain a clean and sanitary bus at all times
Immediately reports any mechanical issues with the bus such as brakes, steering, electrical, etc.
