Reporting to the Director of Environmental Health and Safety, the Environmental Health and Safety Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for the Rogers, MN solar panel manufacturing facility. The Environmental Health and Safety Manager is required to know and comply with State, and Federal laws as they apply to Health and Safety in the Workplace. They will be responsible for maintaining policies and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental concerns. They will be required to continuously shift priorities to meet the position's changing demands and are expected to display a high standard of diplomacy, professionalism, leadership and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain applicable health, safety, and environmental programs.
Conduct accident investigations and ensure work-related injuries are reported and investigated to prevent reoccurrences. Support the team during onsite investigations and identify possible causes of the accident and find plausible solutions to avoid accidents.
Provide recommendations and/or implement changes for improving safety in the workplace. Ensure corrective actions from accident investigations are complete.
Oversee and create monthly reporting statistics regarding H&S for the plant.
Conduct safety audits/inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain OSHA logs and provide recommendations for safety improvements.
Works with all site teams to ensure safe systems of work are embedded in standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, health, and safety certification, with five (5) years' experience working within safety requirements and two (2) years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
Excellent understanding of OSHA and MN OSHA requirements, including experience with manufacturing, ISO Standards, ANSI Standards, Minnesota Statues, and CFR 1910.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to speak and present to the public as required.

Completes cycle counts in various warehouses by printing the count report, physically counting product, and verifying inventory accuracy by approving system-generated counts to manage inventory control. Confirms other the counts of other Cycle Counters.
Tracks open locator accuracy by verifying open locations in the system are open in the warehouse and vice versa.
Checks inventory by slot location and SKU number to manage accurate location of products.
Tracks inventory counts to recognize trends and communicates findings weekly to the department.
Investigates and reconciles lost inventories and possible mis-shipments/mis-picks by item and lot.
Completes appropriate system transfers and adjustments accordingly based on raw material or finished goods.
Communicates with Customer Service to investigate and respond to complaints within 24 hours with findings. Completes follow-up actions, crediting the customer when appropriate.
Participates in the annual physical inventory of products.
