Shift: 2nd Shift Plant Operator. 2:00pm - 10:30pm - Sunday - Thursday. The plant operator is expected to work a 40-hour work week and occasional overtime.
Compensation: $2/hr Shift Premium including $4,000 Sign-on bonus
The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Position Details
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Plant Operator is a key contributor to Zinpro's success by manufacturing the organization's products according to established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards.
Controls, operates, and maintains the automated production machinery that blends, mixes, processes, dries, fills, and packages Zinpro products
Operates a variety of equipment, including reactor, dryer, blending, bagging equipment, and material handling equipment
Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities on production equipment
Performs shipping, receiving, and other warehousing tasks
Perform sampling, data collection, and process operation according to production, regulatory, and feed safety requirements
Ensures nonconforming raw materials, in-process, and finished products are properly identified, segregated, and dispositioned
Proactively identifies and participates in implementing measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
Receives work direction/work orders from management and satisfactorily completes job assignments
Qualifications
Minimum Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in a production environment
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting
Basic computer skills (PC) and basic working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and management
Preferred:
Post-secondary education
3 plus years' experience in a related production environment or industry such as chemical, feed, paper, ethanol, or dairy manufacturing
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance-related tasks
Boiler operation experience
Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or inventory management systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Experience supporting ISO 9000 Quality Systems, GMP's, or Lean Manufacturing methods

Position Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be expected to oversee and support efforts in the maintenance of physical plant systems and the building. Work will center around ensuring the coordination, installation, maintenance and repair of plant production systems, equipment, machines, and tools. Success in this position requires the ability to work with complex machinery and perform physically demanding work while ensuring the safety of self and others. This role is based in a Zinpro manufacturing plant.
Essential Functions
Supports Plant Leadership in determining maintenance-related work priorities and ensures execution of maintenance work priorities at the plant
Facilitates the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations
Supervises a small team and ensures performance toward objectives and alignment with overall strategic organizational deliverables. Provides developmental coaching and ensures team members' ongoing professional growth.
Ensures training delivery & employee proficiency
Supports and executes the maintenance of building and ventilation equipment; performs minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities
Enforces plant equipment maintenance and calibration program. Schedules maintenance, manages maintenance records, and requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for maintenance.
Collaborates with management to resolve maintenance problems and plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures to improve operations
Ensures management is properly notified about needs for major repairs to Plant equipment or additions to lighting, heating, etc.

Qualifications
Minimum Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years' experience in plant operations and/or maintenance

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other architects on the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns that ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
Ensure that application processes (including those of external service providers) are conducted in line with corporate architecture standards, company and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related combination of education and technical experience.
Must have proven experience in a Solutions Architect role implementing large complex programs to achieve the company goals.
10+ years in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development.
Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt.

Perform on-site forensic field investigations for incidents involving a broad range of Polaris products. This role will include customer, engineering, and legal investigations involving fires, accidents, roll-overs, electrical and mechanical issues, etc. The role's main objective is to investigate claims, collaborate across departments to identify root causes, and provide incident data back to the Polaris teams.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Travel to reported incidents domestically, and some worldwide, to conduct field investigations of Polaris Industries' products.
+ Collaborate with teams such as manufacturing, engineering, validation, subject matter experts (SMEs), and peers to identify pertinent data to enhance case investigations.
+ Compile, analyze, and communicate data collected from investigations by presenting findings in a Peer Review format to a diverse group of Polaris teams.
+ Serve as Polaris' technical investigation expert for engineering and product liability counsel.
+ Represent Polaris in multiparty inspections for fire, accident, and litigation claims.
+ Provide testimony (depositions, affidavits, and at trial) as requested by counsel.
+ Develop lessons learned and collaborate cross-functionally to communicate product safety considerations to product teams.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Experience in technical investigations is required.
+ BS degree in Engineering or equivalent is a plus.
+ Minimum 8 years of product investigation experience (preferably with consumer products).
+ Ability to work effectively in a highly independent work setting.
+ Proven analytical skills for problem solving and the identification of root cause.
+ Ability to travel up to 75% and some on short notice.
+ Experience in vehicle and structure fire investigations is preferred.
