PITCO FOODS - CLASS A DRIVER (Bonus) PITCO Foods is a large independent foodservice distributor in Northern California. Based in San Jose, CA, PITCO also has distribution centers in Brisbane, Oakland, and Sacramento. The Class A Commercial Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a tractor-trailer and adhering to all commercial driving regulations while delivering grocery products. PITCO Foods deliver freight between Service Centers and customers and support the selling process. Sign On Bonus: This position also has a sign on bonus of $7,500.00 which will be paid out in 3 installments. First payment of $2,500 will be paid out after 90 days. Pulls and loads items onto the truck, and boxes small cooler and freezer items into milk crates. Follows proper safety and security procedures and standards. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtains pull sheet (list of number and location of items to pull for an order) from control desk. Lifts pallet from low stack and sets on floor. Observes safety and security procedures, such as, performing daily safety checklist for electric pallet jacks prior to use, checking manual pallet jacks and pallets and tagging any with defects, using proper lifting technique. Pulls pallet through warehouse, selects items from floor stock to assemble orders. Checks each pull to ensure correct item and quantity are pulled and that all items are in good condition. PITCO FOODS - CLASS A DRIVER PITCO Foods is a large independent foodservice distributor in Northern California. Based in San Jose, CA, PITCO also has distribution centers in Brisbane, Oakland, and Sacramento. The Class A Commercial Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a tractor-trailer, and adhering to all commercial driving regulations while delivering grocery products. PITCO Foods deliver freight between Service Centers and customers and support the selling process. Enters transactions into the register collect payment and make the change when necessary. Performs the Front End opening and closing tasks as necessary. JOB DESCRIPTION: * Provides prompt and courteous member service by greeting members, obtaining membership cards, determining member packing preferences, answering questions, relaying information on permanent/special promotions and thanking members. * Accurately records the sales of items to the register by moving all merchandise across the scan window, using a hand-held scanning gun or, if necessary, the 10-key pad.
