Brief Description:
The Restoration Technician is a first responder on property loss situations and helps mitigate damage in residential and commercial structures. Technicians are responsible for water damage mitigation, structural board-up and security, on-location cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack-outs, content processing/deodorization, content storage, and handling.
Responsibilities:
Water extraction and mitigation
Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
Microbial remediation
Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up
Demolition

Field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel
Provide the highest level of customer service

Qualifications:
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day
1 year of restoration industry or maintenance experience preferred

Providing individual and group counseling sessions to address interpersonal or family issues that interfere with school performance, including crisis intervention consultation and/or family therapy as needed.
Maintaining all required paperwork including but not limited to communication logs and meticulous notes regarding all services provided to students.
Conducting interviews with students, family members, and school personnel to gather information required to assess student social, emotional and behavioral adjustment to school and the community.
Maintaining regular contact with students' parents/guardians to inform of student's progress, areas of difficulties, and any changes or situations in home life that may affect school performance.
Developing and updating Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) as needed in adherence to the company, school, state and federal regulations and procedure.
Attending and participating in IEP team meeting, facilitating at the discretion of the school districts.
Actively participating in other team meetings when necessary to address specific student and parent concerns.
Collaborating with education and social services professionals (for example wrap- around, probation officers, court systems) to develop appropriate agency services for students and their families.
Providing case management functions for students, which include but are not limited to, coordination of parent meetings, emergency transportation requests, and coordination with therapists outside the school setting.
Collaborating and consulting with teachers, parents/guardians, district personnel, and service providers to find effective solutions to learning and behavior problems; always establishing and maintaining effective public relations and projecting a positive company image.
Ensuring the use of positive social skill teaching methods by conducting monthly direct observation of classroom staff's implementation of IEP goals and/or Behavior Intervention Plans/ Treatment Plans.
Providing guidance, consultation, and assistance to teachers in the development of classroom schedules, maintenance of student data systems and facilitation of student transition plans to assure appropriate schedules and services based on each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and/or other applicable goals.

Master's degree or higher in social work, educational counseling, therapy or a closely related field of study.

Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management (PCM) training.
Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with severe learning disabilities, emotional disturbance and/or behavioral disorders.
Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), functional behavior analysis (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP's).
Proven success in developing and implementing effective intervention plans for students with diverse needs, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting.
Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals.
Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions.

Max USD $68.28/Yr. *** $20,000 Sign on Bonus Available *** The CVOR Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) position is responsible for the care of a designated group of patients in a structured setting through the appropriate utilization of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development relative to patients served and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies, procedures, and standards of care. Performs the harvest of the saphenous vein graft for bypass surgeries under the direction of the surgeon. Qualifications
Education:
BSN preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
Licensed as RN in State of Illinois required.
Current CPR certification per policy required
Current ACLS certification required.
Experience:
Previous experience in a CVOR setting preferred
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed above average performance requirements in all three operating room roles: scrubbing, circulating and first assisting.
In order to perform safely in a direct patient care role, the RN must be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections.
Environmental working conditions include exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue, contagious diseases and/or radioactive or other potentially hazardous materials.
Attends all JCAHO, OSHA, and hospital/nurse manager specified mandatory in-services.
Validates competencies and obtains credentials as identified in unit specific requirements.

Specialized Responsibilities
Initiates appropriate intraoperative behaviors unique to first assistant; if trained to do so.
Provides hemostasis to reduce potential for post-operative infection and potential for fluid-volume deficit by clamping and/or ligating vessels, using electrosurgical cautery, applying direct pressure, applying chemical agents that promote coagulation, and other means as directed by surgeon.
Provide exposure of the operative site through the appropriate use of retractors and other instruments and through suctioning and sponging.
Uses surgical instrumentation skillfully in ways consistent with their design and purpose as directed by the surgeon.
Handle all varieties of tissue appropriately to reduce potential for injury or compromised blood supply.
Sutures skillfully all varieties of tissue with the appropriate suture, materials and suturing techniques.
Able to interact with perfusion in getting patient ready for bypass and able to assist surgeon with cannulation.
Must be proficient in a circulator, scrub, and first assistant role.
Reviews patient positioning; makes recommendations to surgical team based on individual patient needs and surgical requirements.
Coordinates the surgical team in appropriate draping technique for assigned procedures.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of surgical anatomy.
Saphenous vein graft harvest
Able to describe anatomy and physiology of the vascular system.
Demonstrates excellent knowledge of sterile technique.
Demonstrate ability to perform and/or assist in preoperative planning including chart review for pre-existing conditions that may affect harvest, review and interpret pertinent testing such as saphenous vein mapping to aid in decision making.
Able to recognize potential complications and adaptations to decrease the occurrence of complications
Able to demonstrate safe, competent technique in endoscopic harvest of saphenous vein under the direction of the surgeon.
Able to prepare and properly handle vein conduit prior to surgeon preparation for grafting.
Maintains competence by performing a minimum of 12 cases per calendar year.
Performs other related work as required or requested.
