One of my favorite perks or benefits to highlight in a company is flexible work arrangements, including remote work options.
One of my favorite perks or benefits to highlight in a company is flexible work arrangements, including remote work options. This benefit is particularly valuable as it allows employees to achieve a better work-life balance, reduces commuting time and expenses, and can increase overall job satisfaction and productivity. Flexibility in work schedules can also help accommodate personal needs and responsibilities, contributing to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
Perks like flexible working hours, remote work options, and additional leave days contribute to overall job satisfaction and can be seen as part of the compensation package.
Comparing not just salary but also benefits (health insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, stock options) is crucial, as a comprehensive benefits package can significantly enhance overall compensation.
Researching industry salary benchmarks for similar roles can provide a clear picture of how Zippia's compensation stacks up. Websites like Glassdoor, Payscale, and LinkedIn can be useful for this.
I enjoy the flexibility of working for a small company, which extends from hours and vacation time to project plans and working from home. Management is also very accessible and invested in your success.
The two main offices at the company are on opposite coasts (San Mateo, CA and Durham, NC). Since it is such a small company, it would be nice to have everyone working together in the same location.
Having the opportunity to work closely with upper management and take the lead on new projects makes it a great place to learn.

It's a startup, so you get paid less than a real job, but you learn a ton.
Free lunch once a week is pretty sweet.
