Software Solutions & Licensing Strategy Serve as a subject matter expert in software licensing, subscription models, cloud entitlements, and publisher programs across Microsoft, Adobe, AWS, Google, and other SAM focus vendors. Evaluate customer environments, product usage, and contract structures to provide clear options for optimization, cost control, and modernization. Provide solution-oriented guidance that bridges licensing with the broader technology ecosystem (cloud, security, workplace, data platforms, managed services). Support customers through software lifecycle events including onboarding, rightsizing, renewals, migrations, and product transitions. Renewal & Agreement Management Proactively manage assigned renewals, initiating engagement 90+ days before expiration to align options with customer goals. Partner with AMs to position value-driven renewal paths, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and mitigate risks in advance. Maintain deep understanding of publisher program updates, product terms, and compliance requirements to help customers stay informed and make confident decisions. Sales Partnership & Opportunity Development Work collaboratively with regional Account Managers as the go-to resource for software and cloud advisory, helping qualify, design, and close opportunities. Identify and advance opportunities for assessments, cloud migration services, modernization initiatives, managed services adoption, and strategic vendor programs. Cosell with AMs and Field Sellers to accelerate net-new customer acquisitions and expansion within existing accounts. Support deal structuring through pricing analysis, licensing design, and optimization recommendations. Operational Excellence & Customer Support Maintain accurate documentation of activities, opportunities, success plans, and customer interactions within internal systems. Ensure timely communication with licensees on onboarding, offboarding, product changes, and critical updates. Monitor customer install bases and subscription health to maintain satisfaction and reduce risk. Work cross-functionally across operations, legal, finance, and vendor teams to resolve issues and build strong customer experiences. What you will bring to the team: 3+ years of experience in software licensing, cloud subscription management, IT account management, or a related advisory role. Demonstrated success providing customer-facing support and consultative guidance. Solid foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and modern workplace concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience resolving complex customer issues. This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management. **Role Description** + Responsible for the implementation of Microsoft 365 technology including: + Microsoft Teams + SharePoint Online + OneDrive for Business + Microsoft Power Platform + Microsoft Viva + Provide guidance to SHI customers and partners on best practices for Microsoft 365 deployments + Migrating and deploying multiple Microsoft 365 workloads utilizing SHI's standards and best practices + Responsible for analyzing and collecting environment discovery data utilizing our company's developed tools and discovery scripts + Build and update documentation on customer Microsoft 365 environments and integrations + Assist Solution Architects with project tasks for Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and consolidations + Organize, engage and consult on ideas with customers on Microsoft 365 technology + Assist delivery team on project tasks, working with other project team members and being accountable for the outcome of the project + Document best practices, lessons learned, and delivery guidance to customers, partners, and internal resources + Collaborate with sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer discovery and scoping meetings and presentations + Lead the development of SOWs, working closely with various teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business objectives. + Drive revenue growth within the professional services team by identifying new opportunities and optimizing service offerings. + Collaborate with SHI Stakeholder partner teams to create synergistic service solutions. + Engage with SHI sales teams, including front line sellers and customer success managers, to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagement. + Contribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth, leading innovation initiatives, and creating and maintaining practice standards to ensure high-quality service delivery. + Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. + Demonstrate deep expertise in Service Delivery and provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and SHI teams on best practices, trends, and innovations in technology. + Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge. + Oversee and facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, and provide relevant technology/architecture recommendations. + Stay current with new technologies and frameworks, drive the retirement of legacy solutions/technologies, and recommend adopting new partners or solution components. **Behaviors and Competencies** + Problem-Solving: Can proactively identify and take ownership of complex problem-solving initiatives, initiate preventative measures, collaborate with others to find solutions, and drive successful outcomes. + Communication: Can effectively communicate complex ideas and information to diverse audiences, facilitate effective communication between others, and mentor others in effective communication. + Adaptability: Can lead others through change, help teams adapt to new directions, and create a culture open to change. + Leadership: Can take ownership of complex team initiatives, collaborate with others in decision-making processes, and drive team performance. + Teamwork: Can build and lead multiple teams, fostering a cooperative environment and ensuring effective communication between team members. + Self-Motivation: Can take ownership of complex personal or professional initiatives, collaborate with others when necessary, and drive results through self-motivation. **Skill Level Requirements** + Proficiency in overseeing and directing projects to completion, ensuring goals are met, resources are utilized efficiently, and stakeholders are satisfied - Intermediate **Other Requirements** + Completed Bachelor's, Technical degree or related work experience in Computer Engineering or a related field + 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering + 5+ years of technical experience with increasing responsibility + 3+ years of experience designing implementing and integrating Microsoft Collaboration technology + 3+ years of experience working with and migrating Microsoft Collaboration technology + 3+ years of of experience developing and executing scripts for automation and deployment + Willingness to travel occasionally The base salary for this position is $110,000 - $150,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $150,000 - $180,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
