From 2000 to 2006, Chaudhry founded and led CipherTrust, the industry’s first email security gateway, before its merger with Secure Computing. Chaudhry also founded and led CoreHarbor, a managed ecommerce solution, before it was acquired by USi/AT&T. In 1996, Chaudhry founded and led his first company, SecureIT, the first pure-play Internet security service, before it was acquired by VeriSign in 1998.Chaudhry has been honored twice as an Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year (Southeast USA)” and “Entrepreneur of the Year (Silicon Valley)”. He has also received recognition as InformationWeek’s “Innovator & Influencer”, SC Magazine’s “Market Entrepreneur”, and two awards from IIT BHU Varanasi as “Alumnus of the Year” and “Alumnus of the Century in Making”. Chaudhry earned his MBA and his MS in Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and his BTech in Electronics Engineering from IIT BHU Varanasi. Additionally, Chaudhry has completed the Executive Management Program from Harvard Business School.

Kailash co-founded Zscaler and is a recognized expert in scalable and high-performance networking and security systems. His more than 25 years of experience includes work at leading technology companies including AirDefense, CipherTrust, Netscaler, Mylex, Unisys and Wipro, where he started his career when it was a start-up. As a chief architect, Kailash’s accomplishments include building the industry’s highest-performing web application delivery and load balancing platform at NetScaler and improving the scalability of wireless security appliances by a factor of 20 while at AirDefense. Kailash holds over 40 patents and earned an MS in Computer Technology from IIT Delhi and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from IIT BHU, Varanasi.

Remo Canessa is a recognized industry leader with more than 30 years of financial management experience in both public and private technology companies, including 15 years as CFO at category-leading security and network infrastructure companies. Mr. Canessa has served as our chief financial officer since February 2017.

Mr. Canessa’s 30-year career includes 11 years as CFO at infrastructure leader Infoblox, where he led that company through a successful IPO in 2012, and three years as CFO at Netscreen, where he completed a successful IPO and sale of the company to Juniper Networks. His breadth of experience includes strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, corporate finance, and treasury. Mr. Canessa has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara. He currently sits on the Board of Aerohive.

Chris Kozup is a Chief Marketing Officer at Zscaler. He has worked as Senior VP:Global Marketing at Nutanix and Chief Marketing Officer at Aruba. Chris attended IE Business School and Ohio State University.
