Zumba instructor job description

Zumba Instructor - Tampa, FL on-call/substitute/as-needed Tuesdays, 5:00pm-5:45pm

HealthFitness is looking for a Zumba Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in Tampa, FL. In this position you will provide fun, effective and safe group exercise to members participating in Zumba classes. This is a position teaching up to one class per week on an as-needed basis.

What you'll need to have

+ Current Zumba certification required.

+ Adult CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills, including the ability to motivate others.

+ 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

+ This client site requires full COVID-19 vaccination as an essential job function. Maintain valid CPR CertificationMaintain valid Zumba License
Special Skills:

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
• Strong customer service skills
• Good verbal communication

Responsibilities:

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
• Maintain professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.
