General Duties/Responsibilities: Registered nurses (RNs) work closely with supervising providers to assess and monitor patients' needs and ensure treatment and care are conducted according to the facility's procedures by: Caring for patients Record a patient's medical history, symptoms, and vitals with prompt and professional documentation. Update patient charts and electronic health records (EHR). Perform medical tasks, including blood draws and administering shots, and responds to emergent medical needs such as first aid, CPR, wound care. Administers medication and other treatment team-recommended treatment plans. Complies with federal, state, and local nursing regulations, standards, and policies. Collaborates with fellow staff, other departments and outside agencies. Completion of continuing education requirements. Participates in yearly performance review process and provides peer reviews as directed. Adherence to organization code of conduct, maintaining appropriate communication and boundaries with other staff, patients, and outside agencies.
