I liked working in an environment kinda involved in the skateboarding world since i myself grew up skateboarding in hawaii.
I didn't like how opportunity was very limited.
There was this event called 100k that employees were awarded to go to if sold 100k of product within a certain amount of time. I unfortunately did not end up going but i did sell more than 100k of prouduct.
The people I work with are very considerate and helpful, which makes me feel very safe and happy.
Sometimes when it gets really busy it can be stressful, but that's to be expected whem working in a mall.
The family like work environment. Everyone is included, respected, and you actually feel appreciated.

The people. The customers and employees who walk into a Zumiez store generally bring a great vibe with them. As an employee, you’re encouraged to get to know everyone personally.
The pay isn’t a living wage unless you make great commissions. Even as a 1st asst. manager, I’ve decided to move back in with my parents and save my money to buy a home; As renting is simply out of the question.
Staff discounts are between 25-50%.
I like the laid back dress code and the store itself.
I do not like how competitive it is working there. You have to meet high expectations with selling things and follow steps when trying to sell.

Sometimes we are not supported enough By any means and some location can be dangerous.
