In 2013, Josh joined Zach Serber and Jed Dean in founding Zymergen. Previously, Josh was a partner at Norcob Capital and a managing director in Merchant Banking at Rothschild. He holds an MA in International Relations and MPPM from Yale University, as well as a BA from University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to Zymergen, Mina was SVP, Corporate Strategy & General Counsel at Atara Biotherapeutics, a T cell immunotherapy company, General Counsel at Sunrun, a solar company and General Counsel of FLY Leasing, an aircraft leasing company. She started her career at Davis Polk & Wardwell. Mina has a BA in history from Dartmouth and a JD from Harvard Law School.

Campbell has over two decades of experience leading manufacturing at Fortune 100 brands and building teams to deliver high-quality engineering and manufacturing enterprises. She most recently served as senior director of iPad Operations at Apple where she led the manufacturing of a multi-billion dollar consumer electronics product line. Prior to Apple, she was the manager of body construction engineering at Ford Motor Company leading innovation and development of new joining and assembly technologies for light-weight and novel materials applications. Previous roles at Ford spanned a broad range of disciplines, including quality, product development and advanced engineering. She earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in materials science and engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

Judy leads our efforts to build a culture that supports collaboration, learning, and innovation, allowing us to attract, develop, and challenge amazing people. She joined Zymergen from Google, where she spent 12 years leading people operations for businesses including YouTube and Google[x]. She was previously an executive search consultant with Egon Zehnder International, and a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Kenyon College, where she serves on the board of trustees.
