Prior to joining Theraclone Sciences, Dr. Ramos was Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Offer at ZymoGenetics, Inc. and held senior positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, the Immune Tolerance Network at the University of California, San Francisco and Roche Global Development. Her therapeutic areas of expertise include immunology and virology, and she contributed to the development of CellCept and Zenapax in solid organ transplantation while at Roche. Dr. Ramos has also held a number of academic appointments at Harvard Medical School, University of Florida, Yale University and University of California, San Francisco. Before joining industry in 1994, Dr. Ramos, as a board-certified nephrologist, was Director of the Renal Transplant Services at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston and University of Florida, Gainesville. Dr. Ramos earned a B.S. summa cum laude in Chemistry from Tufts University and received her medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction from Tufts Medical School.
