How We Determined the Best Schools in Virginia for Jobs
Our analysis utilized the College Scorecard Data to evaluate colleges based on their job placement ratings, focusing on employment levels ten years after graduation. We examined 37 public and non-profit four-year institutions in Virginia that offer at least a bachelor’s degree.
Each college was ranked according to the percentage of graduates who secured employment. For clarity, we rounded each institution’s rating to two decimal places. James Madison University achieved the highest placement rate, earning the title of the ‘Best College for Jobs in Virginia.’
