How We Identified the Best Industries in Florida

We believe that data provides a more reliable perspective than individual opinions. Our mission involved gathering comprehensive data about Florida’s job market.

We focused on the following criteria to determine the best industries:

  • Average Salary
  • Job Availability
  • Average Stress Level of Jobs in the Industry

Our data sources include the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Department of Labor.

The stress level was derived from self-reported statistics from industry professionals. Each industry was ranked on a scale of 1 to 20, with 1 being the most favorable.

Finally, we averaged these rankings to create a ‘Best Industry’ index. The industry with the lowest score, Healthcare Practitioners and Technical, emerged as the top industry in Florida.
