Back then, I was content with my $5.86 per hour, but today, such wages seem inadequate for sustaining a living. This nostalgia sparked my curiosity about the current lowest paying jobs in Maryland.

Building on our previous research into the highest paying jobs in Maryland, we utilized data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to pinpoint the lowest paying positions in the state.

Our findings reveal that Gaming Dealers rank as the lowest paid workers in Maryland as of 2026.

How We Determined the Lowest Paid Jobs in Maryland
