65 Scholarships Dedicated to Minority Students

The number of minority students is on the rise in the United States. From only 29% in 1996 to 47% in 2016, the attendance of racial and ethnic minorities is expanding at public and private institutions alike.

However, the biggest increase has taken place in less-selective institutions, such as community colleges and public four-year institutions. While it’s great to see that minority students are getting more access to higher education, it does come at a cost.

That’s where we come in. We’ve compiled a list of 30 great scholarships for minority students to apply for that will help eliminate some of those costs.

With most of these scholarships only requiring an essay or two, you should apply to as many as you can. These scholarships are readily available. So what are you waiting for?
