What it Takes to Be a Good Company

Looking across a good portion of the companies located in California we noticed a lot of companies were resorting to layoffs, furloughs and pay cuts. But the good companies weren’t just the ones who resorted to remote working. These companies provided extra financial support and were checking in with their employees to ensure they were doing ok during these hard times. The companies made sure their employees were supported by benefits and had a way to connect with colleagues.

Meanwhile, larger corporations have been spending their time suspending pay or employees. The only true quality that differentiates the good companies from the rest is that they provide hope through showing they care about their team in times of need.

There have been 33.5 million unemployment claims in the U.S. filed over the last 7 weeks. With more and more companies letting people go, it’s nice to see some companies will go above and beyond in order to keep their employees on board.
