How We Identified the Least Productive Places in Ohio

For this analysis, we utilized the latest American Community Survey data. The Census Bureau recently released comprehensive estimates, allowing us to conduct this analysis with the most current information.

After examining numerous criteria, we focused on the following indicators to rank the least productive cities in Ohio:

Shortest commute times
Fewest workers per household (Labor force divided by the number of households)
Highest unemployment rates
Lowest percentage of adults with a college degree
