Intelligence Graphic Artists on contract will produce print graphics in support of finished intelligence (FINTEL) and will ensure intelligence products effectively convey information and comply with Intelligence Community standards. The Graphic Artist will take draft products and documentation from concept to completion, ensuring each graphical document delivers the correct information in an easy-to understand format. Essential Functions Provide support in the creation of value-added intelligence products. Work independently with no required oversite. Responsible for creating and modifying graphics, illustrations, brochures, manuals, publications, and other artwork to better communicate textual content. Collaborate with internal teams and other stakeholders to fully understand product details, goals, and objectives. Research and create maps, pictures, charts, bar scales, and graphics that highlight key themes in products. Develop and maintain databases of stored graphics to quickly create products. They will operate standard computer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print, and store text, illustrations, graphs, and charts and assist with basic illustrations and detail from models, sketches, memory, written or oral instructions, and imagination. Select font type, draw lettering, layout materials, and perform duties. They will determine the style, technique, and medium best suited to produce the preferred effects and conform to reproduction requirements. Listen and work with analysts to make recommendations that assist illustrating key themes in graphical format. They will quickly grasp complex topics, identify main themes, and while using imagination, deliver high-quality content for the intended audience in text and pictures.
