This position is ideal for candidates with experience operating CNC plasma, laser, or oxy-fuel cutting tables who take pride in precision, quality, and safety. They will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC and/or manual burn tables to cut metal plate or sheet to precise specifications. This role requires knowledge of material types, thicknesses, cutting processes, and reading blueprints. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set Up & Operation Load raw material (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloy, etc.) onto the burn table using overhead cranes or forklifts. Set up and operate CNC plasma, oxy-fuel, or laser burn tables according to work orders, blueprints, and CAD/CAM programs. Select appropriate cutting tips, consumables, speeds, feeds, and gases for material type and thickness. Verify cutting programs for accuracy and adjust as needed. Cutting & Production Monitor burn table operation to ensure clean, accurate cuts and minimize scrap. Perform test cuts to confirm tolerances before running full production.
