    We're looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our team! The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating the loading of merchandise to ensure orders are complete, accurate and loaded per the loading documents (TLW). This position will also assist the shipping department in all different aspects, such as in the HBC/GM area and in the selection and receiving process along with Distribution Supervisors. Responsible for following all food safety procedures established by the site. * Delegate, coach and train employees on performing job functions efficiently. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. Obtain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when assigned to the Perishable Department. 3. Operate an electric pallet jack within the Distribution Center to accurately select items to complete customer's orders. 4. Utilize "preferred methods" for selecting orders 5. Read case labels to properly identify items. 6. Accurately select full cases and stack them on pallets while placing the correct product labels on each item. Re-stack items on pallets as needed. Lift and re-position pallets as needed. 7. Check each order after the order picking process is completed to ensure the product is placed and stacked appropriately on the pallet(s) to prevent damage during transit. 8. Transfer wrapped pallets to the loading or staging area. 9. Apply special wrap or ice/dry ice, depending upon the type of food. 10. Communicate with the voice selection system during the entire shift to process orders. 11. Operate an electric pallet jack to assist Loaders in moving pallets from the perishable dock to the loading area at the end of the shift, as required. 12. Perform at the minimum acceptable level 95% or above according to company standards. 13. Comply with all safety and sanitation rules, regulations, and guidelines; notify supervisor of unsafe/unsanitary conditions to maintain an inspection ready distribution center. 14. Interact in a positive manner with entire warehouse team and promote team-building.
