PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY · Conduct thorough, concise, and detailed inspections of homes, covering all areas such as crawl spaces, attics, and structural components. · Assess the condition of all residential systems and components, identifying potential issues. · Convey all findings professionally, using proper grammar and punctuation, both verbally and in written reports. · Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, including detailed descriptions and photographs, and deliver them promptly following established procedures. · Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders, addressing questions and concerns with empathy and tact. · Make informed recommendations to clients and real estate professionals regarding value packages and additional services offered. · Maintain accurate records of all inspections, including photos, notes, and completed reports. · Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately from initiation to closure, following company guidelines. · Demonstrate strong time management skills by arriving at inspections at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled start times. · Establish proactive follow-up procedures to contact clients within a reasonable time frame post-inspection. · Coordinate the placement and pickup of specialized testing equipment, responsible for all company-issued equipment. · Collect payments at the conclusion of each inspection, ensuring a smooth transaction process. · Maintain a professional appearance and positive company image, representing the business with credibility and courtesy. · Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, and perform local travel to client sites. · Utilize social media and other communication channels to promote services and engage with the community. JOB SPECIFICATIONS · Basic knowledge of residential home systems and components. · Proven ability to achieve professional goals and deliver excellent customer service. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of resolving complex issues and managing emotional dynamics. · Proficient in technology, including tablets, inspection software, and internet/email use. · Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to work in varying weather conditions and navigate tight spaces. · Ability to climb ladders, walk on roofs, crawl in tight areas, and stand for long periods. · Self-driven, results-oriented, mature, credible, and able to maintain emotional stability. · Willingness to complete all required assessments, training, and licensing requirements. · Computer literacy and excellent written and verbal skills. · Business and selling skills to effectively demonstrate service benefits and value packages. · Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations and product recommendations.
