Typical Day: Very manageable practice and schedule, on average, 2-3 new consults, 1-reevaluation, 2 follow-up patients, 2-3 simulations. Treating about 35 patients per day, on two machines, between 2 providers. Mondays are On-treatment patients that are seen by the physician. Simulations are scheduled Monday to Friday. Typically, 2-3 a day. There will be a daily review of images.
This physician would only practice radiation therapy at the 1100 Grampian Blvd. address. The inpatients for consultation would be located at 700 High Street, Williamsport, PA.
On-call physicians would be any patient calls, which is rare, and the consultation of inpatients needing radiation. Our inpatient hospital is 5 miles away from the radiation oncology department hospital.
This is a 2-doc shop, and they cannot function with only 1 provider and need someone full-time for this role. They are willing to be flexible and willing to onboard 1-2 candidates, but they need consistency.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Geoscience Trainee, you will participate in a one-year training period learning the job duties of a Geoscientist. You will gain experience analyzing and resolving hydrogeologic program issues through a detailed review of data in both field and office settings in support of the Environmental Cleanup Program. Work includes administration of the Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act, relevant portions of the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the Storage Tank and Spill Prevention Act, the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law and the Solid Waste Management regulations.
Specific duties include developing and conducting hydrogeologic investigations in response to groundwater and soil contamination complaints, pollution incidents, permit applications, and activities, which have a potential to pollute groundwater resources. You will learn how to resolve hydrogeologic situations and unique groundwater pollution problems, as well as identify sources of groundwater contamination and approving necessary remedial measures for all assigned groundwater pollution cases. You will further learn the process for compiling hydrogeologic and geologic data, performing hydrogeologic mapping through field and laboratory investigations, and preparing hydrogeologic reports.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities: · Designs, develops, and tests new control systems · Develops, leads and implements complex projects · Tests, maintains, and modifies existing control systems · Reviews, revises and improves existing procedures and documents · Analyzes data and reports results with management and staff · Collaborates with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff · Acts as a liaison with clients, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities · Provides technical/troubleshooting support for both mechanical and electrical issues · Understands and ensures compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations · Provides training and consulting support for new employees, technical staff, and customers · Researches and purchases equipment · Develops new business proposals Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required: · Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university with at least eight years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience · Knowledge of Advanced Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Combination of hands-on technical skills and project management skills · Previous experience in a research and development or manufacturing environment preferred · Ability to write technical documents and business proposals Physical Demands and Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
