    Atkore currently has openings for Machine Operator/Coilers in our New Bedford, MA facility. All openings will be 3rd Shift (Midnight – 8am), Monday through Friday (occasional overtime may be required including weekends) however training may take place on 1st shift (8am - 4pm) or 2nd shift (4pm - Midnight) as assigned.

    Responsibilities include set up, operation, inspection and adjustment of large and/or heavy coiling equipment. This role requires lifting up to 70 lbs as well as pushing/pulling of coiling materials, completion of necessary paperwork and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

    Job Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred but not required.
    • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to work in an environment with loud noises, smells and/or extreme temperatures at times.
    • Basic Math skills required.
    • Must have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
