General Purpose: The purpose of the International Admissions Representative position is to assist and guide international students through the admissions and enrollment process.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Promote/participate in new student orientation
Contact, set appointment and interview perspective students
Generate referrals and professionally developed leads
Continually update SMS database with student information
Check admissions files for accuracy
Collect proper and defined documentation from prospective students
Process returning, transfer, abroad, change of status and domestic student documents
Enroll and register returning, transfer, abroad and domestic students
Guide students who are willing to reinstate their status
Follow-up with other schools regarding transfer students
Follow-up with prospects on denials
Respond to calls and emails in a timely manner
Follow-up with students regarding start, payments and registration/enrollment
Direct students to the appropriate departments for questions related to academic and immigration issues
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Supervisory: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
