    The Quality Technician will evaluate materials and products to make sure they are at the level of quality they should be. Conduct quality assurance tests using a variety of instruments and laboratory equipment.     WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Create measurement programs for the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment
    Use all dimensional measuring equipment such as the CMM's, precision hand measurement tools, optical comparator, surface plate and height gage, and profilometer.
    Assist in the analysis of dimensional and inspection problems and the implementation of corrective actions.
    Ensure that Quality Operating System standards and procedures are being followed.
    Relay inspection results to the Operations Department and/or Quality Engineers in a timely manner, to facilitate process adjustments and corrective actions.
    Document results and analyze data.
    Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
    Processing First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
    Selective receiving inspection.
    Analysis and processing of internal NCR material and other administrative and logistical support duties.
    Adhere to safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
    Maintain good housekeeping to ensure laboratory and plant cleanliness.

    Qualifications WHAT YOU NEED:

    Associates Degree.
    3+ years experience in Quality Assurance and/or CMM operation and programming.
    Experience with Romer Arm or Laser Tracker.
    Mechanical aptitude and proficiency and experience with the use of dimensional measuring equipment such as surface plate and height gage, optical comparator, calipers, I.D. and O.D micrometers, indicators, and profilometer.
    Knowledge of blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
    Must possess knowledge, training, and reporting in measurement system analysis and process capability / SPC.
    Intermediate computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
