About the Role:
We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to:
Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (don't worry - a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler and you will receive ample training)
Frequently load/unload vehicles onto the hauler (this part does require getting physical!) and regularly inspect the car-hauler to make sure the vehicle maintains safe to drive
Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system
Consistently drive safe and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy.
* Candidates must have (or be able to obtain) a Notary in your local jurisdiction within the first 90 days of employment (process sponsored by Carvana). Maintain a slow and steady approach to deliveries focused on safety
Clean and maintain cargo van and maintain overall stewardship of vehicle
Forward potential new customers to the sales department
Drive delivery vehicle
Load and unload products to be delivered
Inspect the delivery vehicle regularly
Add fuel and maintain detailed records of fuel costs and mileage
Deliver items by the required delivery date and time
Collect payment or get signatures for proof of delivery
Ensure all items being delivered remain intact during transport and delivery
Qualifications:
General understanding of customer service
Safe approach to delivery services
High attention to detail while processing delivery orders
Ability to safely lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 pounds), good physical stamina, dexterity to maneuver packages, and the capability to bend, stoop, and reach while loading and unloading deliveries
Good communication skills
A valid drivers license
Delivery driver experience greater than or equal to 12 months
A clean driving record for the last 12 months
A clean criminal record
Able to work 5-20 hours a week during operating hours
Able to work on Saturdays and Sundays

THIS IS A 5 DAYS 8 HOUR NIGHT SHIFT TUESDAY - SATURDAY POSITION.
General Responsibilities
Operating a bobtail tankers according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of landing, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
Facilitate routine service on trucks and perform pre and post trip inspections.
Fuel heavy equipment and generators.
Loading and off-loading petroleum products.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Class (CDL) A or B driver's license
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Hazardous Materials Endorsement, Air Brakes and Tankers Endorsement required
TWIC Card (within 3 months of employment)
Clean DMV record
Ability to read general street and city maps
