Operate and set up brake press machines for air bending metal components according to job specifications and blueprints.
Interpret blueprints and determine tooling and bending order to complete part.
Check dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure accuracy.
Perform regular quality checks and adjustments to maintain production standards.
Assist with general shop labor, including material handling, part preparation, and machine maintenance as needed.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating a brake press or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred.
Familiarity with air bending techniques and basic metal fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic computer skills for scanning purposes.
Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong work ethic and willingness to assist in various shop tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for part accuracy (dimensions) when complete.
Responsible for completing daily work as assigned by supervisor as well as weekly schedule.
Detect and report faulty equipment and/or materials to team leader and supervisor.
Use safety equipment as instructed. Follow safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain work area, equipment and tools in clean orderly condition.
Perform other duties and cross-train as required or assigned
