YOUR LIFE AS AN EHS PARENT INVOLVEMENT COORDINATOR
This social work position typically works Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and requires extensive traveling as you drive to families' homes.
As an EHS Parent Involvement Coordinator, you offer vital support to families in our community by providing them with resources and strategies to find healing and success. You are a compassionate person who has a heart for working with children and families who are striving to overcome generational trauma cycles. In this role, you travel to clients' homes and build relationships with them to help develop their skills, communication, and self-sufficiency.
You take note of each family's strengths and needs, and you use those assessments to help shape their plans and goals. Patiently, you help the families find community services and resources where they can find support and build relationships with others. You regularly check in on the families to track their progress and ensure they follow their plans. You feel great about helping families grow past their trauma so their children can have better futures!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- At least 1 year of experience working in an early childhood education program OR working with children and/or families
- Can read, write, and speak in both English and Spanish
- A valid High School Diploma or GED
An associate degree in social services or a related field would be preferred but is not required. Two or more years of experience in an early childhood education program would be a bonus.
