1 - Build custom equipment or machinery.
2 - Have run electrical conduit.
3 - Strong electrical aptitude and skills.
4 - Done installation of electrical wiring and assembly.
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for reading prints, wiring control panels, and running conduit for walk-in freezers, environmental rooms, automotive test benches, calorimeters, and other custom equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
Works with production and engineering teams to ensure system specifications are met.
Reads and comprehends process flow and engineering schematics.
Build Panels and install control wiring - AC from 24 to 480 volts single and three-phase, DC including signal loops.
Soldering wiring, assembling, and pulling wiring harnesses.
Conduits and raceway - layout, cutting and installing.
Rigid conduit - layout, cutting, threading, and connecting to functional components.
EMT - layout, bending and installing flexible conduit to process equipment.
Mounting components, assemble structural and functional systems.
Verifying electrical functionality of assembled machinery.
Follows safety policies. Practices 5S and Lean methodologies.
Some travel may be required.
Other duties as required.
