Provide project status updates, schedule impacts, and milestone reporting to fabrication and field services leadership, project managers, and engineers. Review and approve fabrication technician timecards weekly. Coordinate with Operations, Logistics & Compliance on materials, inventory, tooling, supplies, and commissioning readiness. Ensure every completed project undergoes a full Quality Assurance inspection prior to release. Partner with Quality Assurance to resolve deficiencies, confirm test results, and verify adherence to the zero-defect build standard. Ensure each technician properly kits their project after QA approval, including all hardware, materials, labeling, cable sets, consumables, and installation-ready components. Verify completeness and accuracy of all documentation included in the project kit, such as drawings, schematics, as-builts, test reports, commissioning forms, and client deliverables. Authorize and oversee final handoff of completed and kitted projects to Operations & Logistics and coordinate with the Supply Chain team for client delivery. Fabricate, integrate, and validate systems involving fiber infrastructure, SMPTE 2110 networking, PTP timing, multicast flow alignment, and cloud-connected workflows.
